Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
I would have no problem with that. I would rather a Black man than a white women. No offense women, but when it comes to world power, most countries are NOT going to respect a woman leader, they just wont.
But then again, who knows, maybe a really hot woman President could mend some of our broken relationships with countries. LOL

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
I don't see why not. I'm suprised the Government would let this happen. They feel we're to immature to know the truth about UFOs. You think they would give us a Black President?
But I'd be ready to see Obama or Hillary. Just to show I'm not a racist. Now if Obama says something like "Tanks to all dem cracka's out dere dat voted fo me!!" I am going to have a major issue with that.“I don't look ahead... I keep focused on my next opponent. I am looking forward to my next opponent, I don't think past that point.”

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
i dont know if all of America is, but i think he would be a good president - besides ron paul i like obama the most..Call me a sexist but i would not want a women like clinton to become president at all- eventhough im sure she will win. The Clintons and Bush's are Americas dictators in a sense(candidates@google:ron paul )

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
lol,
100% yes
i teach leadership training, obama is the real deal......he embodies every superior charecteristic of a great leader
rice, loyal, that's about it imho, of course she is smart
hillary, not bad, pretty good, gotta give her some cred, she brought up healthcare issue 90 days into first presidency, got cricified, and now 10 years later, you got arnold and romney and a few other states doing it on it's own
my only problem is i do not see her as a leader, she does not inspire, and she is very calculating
i'm voting obama all the whey

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
I would rather have Rice as a President than Hillary. Hillary will lie throuhg her teeth just to say what the people want to hear. Then just as soon as she would take office, it would be her way or nothing.
I do nnot think the US is ready for a female president.
As far as Obama, I will have no problem as him being president. I justr don't think he has enough political clout or foreign knowledge contacts and experience to lead.Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
The US is not ready for a black man, neither a woman!!!!!
Also it was proven that when women are elected as leader they are worst than men. What I mean, is that many says that we need a feminine touch to power, but in fact, these women are like men... and we had proof in the past year in the UK, Israel, Pakistan....
They will act like men, talk like men, govern like menthree doodoo is back! Hide your women!

Re: Is the US ready for a Black President
although i would have no problem with it, thwere is no way in hell a black or a woman will be president. the idealistic democratic party will slit their own throats if they put too many eggs in either basket, and it appears to be headed in that direction.
qualified or not, charismatic or not, great leader or not, this country is not ready.

here's what will happen. the dems will put up obama, and the republicans will go against there nature and put up the moderate, mc cain, and despite 8 yrs of george, the dems will loose again.
idealism is a great trait to have, but needs to be tempured with realism.
