I need the opinions of my fellow fitnessgeared brothers and sisters! I have a lawsuit going with a major car company and am going to have probably around 30k cash to spend on a new car.
(please don't ask which company and if you know what I drive don't mention which car because I'm not allowed to speak of that part as of this moment.)
I'm thinking of a few different things. I'll be getting the money mid 2007.
So I was either going to pick up a used car (around 10k) like maybe a Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible 2000-2005 style, Bmw 323i 4 door 1999-2002, or a 2001-2002 S60(not a type r). Hold on to it for about a year and a half then sell it and buy either the new Dodge Challenger or Chevy Camaro.

Or...
I am thinking of buying a 2005-2006 Volvo S60 R now which run about 25k used. This is a 300+ hp, 13 second 1/4 mile, luxury car with the most comfortable interiors I've ever been in. Then to top it off it's a Volvo, so safety is the main key. And last but not least the look is sweet. Not usually one of volvo's strong points but definitely was in this case.
Here's a link to one on ebay. Check out all the pics before helping me pick............http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEMO-...QQcmdZViewItem
If I buy used first I'll spend around 10k for it. So I'll have 20k cash left. When It's time to buy the challenger or camaro I can sell the used car and probably get like 5k for it. So I'll have 25k cash by then and I'll be able to buy either one of those cars cash. If I were to buy the S60 R which I really want also first, then I would have 0 left for the camaro or challenger, and when I sold the s60 r I'd probably get about 15k for it.
