when i met my wife i knew she couldnt cook. she can now, and does. what first attracted my to her was her a$$. so, i'd say mck. is part right. what kept me with her was the full package!! i love that girl

Yeah cooking is the icing on the cake ! But she doesnt have to cook it would be nice if she was a chiropractor so I could get alignments ed or eod lol but it would be a bonus ! A+++

for some odd reason, this thread popped into my head this morning. after remembering my responce it dawned on me, you maybe asking what a man really wants out of a woman, no?
if so, this is my opinion.
i think most men want the perfect woman. by that, i mean, a woman that keeps the house up (most men will help). a woman that will help raise the kids to their ideals (not undermind the dad). a woman that is confident in thereselve's. a woman that dresses sexy (please, get rid of the frumpy p.j.'s and xl shirts! i'm not saying to walk around in lingerie all day( bonus points!) but find something in between) a woman that when we go out, your a lady on my arm, evey guy looks and thinks "lucky bastard" and when we get home, your a pornstar in bed!
cooking?...it's a bonus.
job, contributing to the household income? more bonus points!
the way to a man heart is through his chest!!! take his breath away!!

I just was curious about what men felt when a woman is a good cook. Does it matter? As we know, noone has the perfect woman, or man, we all would like that. I think Fuzo can say that I am some of the things that you described in this post, but of course not all of them. It is sometimes a challenge to be a stay at home Mom, who does work part time, does the cleaning, cooking, laundry, takes care of the kids, etc. Sometimes we just want to be in those pj's and big shirts and sweats!lol! We would like to be "wow'd" by our man to sometimes, but I think that what wows us is different then what wows the men. Just was looking for some insight on what qualities men really appreciate in a woman, it seems somehow that it always ends on a sexual note.

stay at home mom, that works part time, takes care of the kids, cook's....sounds like what i was talking about!!! my wife wears the big pj's too sometimes....i was just trying to convey that i dont think it really has alot to do with cooking. and i do believe my wife is perfect, at least to me. and believe me, i had to wow her alot to get her cofidence built up. now, she is exactly what i described.
i give you a ton of credit for what you do....i know how difficult it is to be in your position. i see my wife work 45-50hrs a week, keep the home and the kids (3). i respect any woman that can do that. i'm sure fuzo feels the same way. and, yep, the sex does have alot to do with it, lol

Different men have different opinions. Cooking I say is a huge plus.

There is even a song about it from the 50's where they talk about looks and cooking. it goes........

"If you want to be happy for the rest of your life
never make a pretty woman your wife
so from my personal point of view
get an ugly girl to marry you!"

then in the background a guy says to his buddy...

"I saw your girl the other day, man is she ugly"
and the guy replies "Yeah but she can sure cook though!"

HAHAHa that song makes me laugh. But point is I think they're trying to say they'd rather have an ugly girl that can cook, rather than a pretty girl that will just sit their and look pretty.

Does seem to always end on a sex note, but from a mans point of view, i hear alot of men complain that their wifes don't do alot as far as sex goes. I mean like doing whatever to pls without the man having to suggest not only in sex but what they wear, like sexy outfits etc and not only when he knows that your going to have sex. Women need to understand that not only sex, but the visual foreplay for most men is a big thing and is alot dif than a womans needs for it. don't be afraid to get nasty and take inititave. A woman should feel beautiful about herself reguardless, but yeah the pjs and baggy t-shits etc a girl needs to be able to relax as well. Also, other than that a woman that really listens. I know women have dif wows then men, but if you fullfill the above, then i would guarntee yours "wow" would be met. As far as cooking, yes it does matter to a point, but it depends alot on how your man was brought up, and also sometimes it just doesn't matter. Sure i like a good meal myself, but hey if she makes something that doesn't turn out, then hey...no big deal. Im not one for baked deserts.
