...dunno...i like trade/labor type jobs myself. the coal mine i work at, everyone makes between 70k-100k a year...depending on how much ot they work.......and the oil fields around here are paying $30-35 per hour......power plants paying $25-30 hour...not bad...none of them require any schooling and are all over 70k a year with full benefits. all the guys i grew up with went to 4+ years of college, and only a small percent can hold a job making over 50k a year.

They say Im too "pretty" to be out there roughing it. This girl I just started seeing said she could never date anyone that works in the oil fields. She said guys lose fingers/ hands all the time and that I'll be gone for like 4 days and then com back for 3 or soemthing like that. I want to do it but everyone I talk to says no.

on a serious note, be an underware model, you'd make good money, get your name out there and possibly land a bigger gig making big bank roll. Lol, i know you don't want to hear it, but it really isn't that bad bro. If you study hard and get half way decent grades you will come out with a good job later. Yes, i agree alittle w/Pig, there are some guys that go to college for yrs, but the prob is they don't take the right classes in a marketable course of study, like business, but not adaptable skill. You need tech skills nowdays or higher level admin skills that adapt to anything that is growing like computers, information systems, robotics. Also, not to throw you off track, but you can meet some nice ladies at school that actually have something going on, not just a nice bod to look at, lol! If all else fails, there IS a very high class escort service in TX that is very exclusive. I think you have to send them a porfolio of pictures, and have some kind of resume together. They will culture you and get you high paying jobs with exclusive clientelle, but you cant be picky or choosey. You might get a hot babe on a yaht or a 60yr old heiress that wants someone as her boy toy for a wk. I had the services name yrs ago, but if your interested i can find it. All the women and men that work for them are top pros in the field, im talking model types.

I asked the guy at my gym today if they are hiring he kinda flipped out and got all excited that I wanted to work there. Hes like, "do you want to fill out the app here? The manager will be back in 2 hours if you want to wait or come back." I told him I would just take it with me and bring it back next time I come in if I was interested. ^ Now that would be a good job Comb! This reminds me of an interview i had when i was in my twenties. It was a private securities company that wanted a few bodyguards for exclusive private clientele. When i was on the interview he told me what they would do if hired was to put you thru a kind of finishing school that would teach you proper etiquette when at lunch dinner functions and the placement and use of utensils. Then a class on fine wines and knowing the differences, then proper dress for dinner functions, lunch and breakfest, also proper style and grooming. Then proper english and diction and a class on hispanic language and French. After all this they would send you to take a class to get your CCW permit and a tactical defense and martial arts class. All this would take about 3-4 months, then they would send you off to your first assignment with another bodyguard and after that you would be on your own. You might be working for an executive that wants protection, to a person in hiding in Miami, to working for a billionaires wife on a yaht. He said it sound very interesting an adventurious, but alot of times it would be boring just standing watch on a private yaht or just being a babysitter, but if the client at some point wanted you to be involved socially or help in entertaining, you would have to know you to act among ppl of that caliber. At the time of course i was young and going out with a girl i thought would be lasting, and some of the jobs might be 1month or up to 3 months depending, so i opted. Later the relationship dissolved..Oh well...Oh, btw, pay wasn't bad either 3k per wk up to 25k per wk depending on the client and thats not counting tips if the client felt good in doing so. Also included was airfare and either hotel or resdense quarters. Its wasn't something i was looking for, but just happend to find it in a city employment paper.

Seriously though, I could do this job. I've worked at a ton of fine dining places, I know all about wine, cigars, all my friends are really well off so I know how to act and all.

In reality i think that is your best bet Crombie, but as far as the bodyguard stuff, i was just doing my wkly thing in my early twenties looking in the city papers classifieds, and it said something about a private agency looking for security and bodyguards. I would maybe do online searches in the TX areas and also the yellowpages under security etc. This wasn't your typical security guard company. Then start calling companies and asking questions. Still i think school is your best bet, as you are still young and if you wait too long it will be harder to get employment.

i feel a BA or BS is the way to go. school is the shit, u got ot class like 2-3 hours a day. there are 25k kids ur age there. join a frat screw hott slutty sorority girls. its the best thing i have ever done. i dont want to leave. i want to do grad school just so i dont have to go home and work.
