He's doing it because he loves you. That's what is most difficult for non-believers to understand. Authentic Christians try to love everyone. Your bro just wants you to have the same piece of mind he has. Let me ask you this, what would it hurt for you to go one Sunday with him to church? Nothing. Don't think of it as a convertion, because it's not. You were born of God's plan, you just haven't come to terms with it YET. Half the guys I play football with are lost but we still go out an enjoy having football in common. Some have come to church but we don't look at it as a fraternity. That's not what it is. I hope you give your boy a chance, just once.

              FACT RESULTS

              1. Knowledge or information based on real occurrences: an account based on fact

              2. Something demonstrated to exist or known to have existed

              3. A real occurrence; an event: had to prove the facts of the case.

A FACT DOES NOT HAVE TO APPLY TO EVERYONE FOR IT TO BE A FACT!! AND THATS A FACT!

SO..............FACT; PEOPLE SAW HIM AND WALKED WITH HIM AND PASSED IT DOWN THROUGH THE AGES....

FACT HE IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR AND LIVES IN MY HEART CAUSE I KNOW AND BELIEVE AND CAN FEEL HIM IN MY LIFE.

Fair enough bro, fair enough. The worst thing a person can do is force something on to you. There will be a time when you will feel 'called' and you will know. There is no mistaken.

THERES NOT ANY! IT IS ONLY FREE WILL TO KNOW HIM AND FOR YOU TO BELIEVE. IF I COULD SHOW YOU THEN YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO BELIEVE. ITS ABOUT BELIEVEING IN HIM. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO PROVE WITH NO DOUT THEN YOU WILL NEVER FIND THAT. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION TO GO TO CHURCH AND LISTEN WITH AN OPEN MIND AND THEN SEE IF YOU BELIVE OR NOT!

Ok, let me put it in other terms. In history we learn that Columbus discovered America, right? However, what if I say prove it. Then what, it's not true? Certainly not the case. People who were with him documented what took place, just like people of Biblical time documented what took place. It's history that was written by those who physically seen it happen. How can one man's written word supported by eyewitnesses be any different thatn anothers? It can't. If Columbus was documented sailing the ocean and Jesus was documented resurrecting, then it happened. There were over 500 eyewitnessed that saw Jesus after he resurrected. How else would anyone have believed if no one saw him alive again? Without that, the entire Christian religion is useless. Without his resurrection, there is no Son of God. But people seen him, they told others, they wrote it down. It's not a bedtime story, it's real. But it's difficult to believe when you are lost. I know, because I was once lost too. I wasn't always a believer. I didn't grow up in the 'go to church every Sunday' family. No, I came to God by personal invitaion. I can't explain what isn't in physical form. Let me give you antoher example: have you ever lost a loved one? Did you truely love that person? If so, prove it!

and to be honest, i'm too lazy to debate this with you. i don't know why i even responded to the thread; i usually stay out of these.

i respect your right to hold your beliefs. they just aren't for me.

Now, Now 007, lol! I would ask "Who are these 500 ppl that can prove Jesus ressurected from the dead"?, and what proof of what these ppl have said is true?? I have never heard this account and i was raised Roman Catholic. Also i do not particulary believe just because you don't means you are lost, lol! Everyone has different views on religion and just because you believe what you do doesn't make you right and everone else lost, lol! Do you actually believe everything that has been written, by these pagons to be truth? Hell, they believed that when there was a bad storm and lightning and thunder, they wrote it down, as in fact that it was a myrid of chariots and the gods comming down from the heavens. Also there wording from back then was much different in terminology then ours today, so what they might have said back then has a totally different meaning then what we use today. If you are not a scholar in Christian theology i would not second guess what is writen from what is truth. Many scholors believe "Jesus" was nothing buy a religious zelot that was crucified during that time period. Other that his preachings he did nothing more that many at that time, btw many, many ppl were crucified during his time as well, but ppl have a way of gossiping and then the gossip turns into truth, which gets handed down from generation to generation. It was an extreamely developemental time during the Roman period for christianity and many had their own versions for what they wanted to believe in their own religions and that is how different denomination developed into what we have today. Is it all truth?? Maybe some, but i would say most of it is what was made up by ppl of that time.
