          thats alot of weight, but how far does he have to bring it down 11-12 inches, im 6' 185pds i have to bring the bar down like 19-20 inches to hit my chest, i can do 315 for 4-5 times...none the less thats still that alot of weight…im just trying to say that’s there alot that need to be taken into account

            he is one thick sob so the travel would be less than yours, i guess....He's 6'5" so its not like he has short arms ya know... either way, you'll see him when i tape it.

              Work = force X distance. Even if he is only moving the bar 6-7 inches, there is a tremendous amount of work being done there...not to mention the force applied to move that mass.

              Hey beast, was he wearing a bench shirt?

                "Work = force X distance" lmao

                i dont remember leaning that on physics??

                but it doesnt really matter either way cause when his fat ass takes his shirt off at the beach no girl is going to say "WOW! i bet he can rep 315 23 times!!! eww girl, you better go get you some!!!" their going to look at each other and laugh, pick their shit up and move farther down the beach

                i dont know where im going with this.....sooooo here :p

                  Re: Amazing strenght!

                  This is correct Work = Force x Distance assuming that there is no translational motion. If there is then it would be work = force x distance x cos theta. Now here is the interesting part.

                  Force in this matter is defined by newtons second law which states that a change in an objects state of motion is inversely proportional to the mass and directly proportional to the net force upon the object. Giving us Force = Mass x Acceleration.

                  So really not only does his arm length play a role but the speed at which he takes it from full extension to his chest and then from his chest to extension.

                  Giving us this equation:
                  W=(mass x acceleration) x distance

                  Therefore, the slower he moves it and the shorter the distance he moves it, the less the amount of work that is actually being done with the same amount of mass.

                          No, actually I live in my car because Im so damn poor from medical school. Really though its the geeks that are writing the research and finding the chemicals that make you guys bigger.

                          It interesting stuff though really, biomechanics is a great topic.
