So because your god is omnipotent, he knows who he is going to call to him and who he is not, before they are even born. Essentially saying your god creates some souls so he can torture them for eternity, which I would fit in that category.

I totally disagree. Your illustraion is silly because it is based on a victim being forced to give into a selfish act. God is not saying "I want this or else" he is saying "I have all this to offer you, if only you..." God's intentions are good and the muggers intentions are evil. Which makes this comparision uncomparable.

What I am pointing out is the commonality of coersion, the use of force if you don't make the decision the bully is coersing you to make.

If all god was sayin is "I have all this to offer you, if only you..." there would be no need for eternal punishment. He is saying "do what I say or suffer".

Well, that's why you don't get it. That also doesn't sound like a man who "frees" his mind, but instead has a closed off one-sided thought process.

Of course not (well not based on that information) , if we had to prove everything wrong that was presented to us we wouldn't have time to do anything. Muslims: you are jusdged by your works. Also written and taught by one man with no witnesses.

Jew: No need to disprove because it is accurate until the part of denying Jesus. The Jews believe in the coming Messiah but failled to recognize him when he came. There were many witnesses and many different writers of the Old Testament.

Hindu: believe that the earth sits on the back of a cow. Do I need to say anymore?

Buddism: written and taught by one man with no withnesses. Believe you are reincarnated based on your works as a human.

Scientology: Just plain idiotic. They believe that man is basically good. They believe that no man should kill another man. And yet they contridict themselves by saying that all men have the inaleinable right to think and do freely and practice whatever religion they wish. Ok, so if your religion teaches you to kill those who oppose you then Scientology contridicts itself.

Raelism: Please, UFO's? Give me a break.

Kabbalah: Oh yea, the power to create light. This is impossible. There is no such thing as darkness, there is only absence of light. Oh yea, my favorite part, you will be able to make miracles, avoid death and rid the world or chaos. Well, I'm waiting. As long as there is chaos that proves this religion is a lie.

Astrology: This is the easiest of all. A belief centered around star formations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most stars we see are actually the light still traveling across the universe from a burned out star. So, if the star is actually burned out then eventually there will be a day when that star no longer exists in the universe (or atleast the light is no longer visible on this planet). Therefore, that formation of stars will no longer exist. Finally, that astrological formation will no longer exist. Also, this is a practice, not a religion.

Wicca: Oh, another favorite. However, its more of a practice than a religion.

Morman: written and taught by one man with no witnesses. This guy claimed to have received solid gold tablets from God. He said they were a specific age and they were written in Egyptian heirogliphics (spelling). Yet, the tablets were never seen by anyone else and the date in which he claims they were made conflicts with Egyptian history.

The bottom line is that all religions, except Christianity, are based on mans works and are designed to appeal to human flesh. You will become a great tiger in the next life, you will become a god in the next life, you will be met by many virgins in the next life, etc. They all teach what appeals to the human flesh. This is why they are so appealing. Answer this, why would someone be stupid enough to think they could enjoy virgins when they die if their sex organs are burried six feet under ground (or blown up in a car bomb)? Also, Christianity is the only religion that the man who founded it never wrote one word of it. If Christ was a liar don't you think he would have contributed some writtings of his own? But he didn't, not one single word was written by Christ. Hmmmmm. Also, by witness testimony, Christ is the only founder of a religion that rose from the grave. Hmmmmm. No other religions can say their founder didn't have a physical impact in the writting of their religion and no other religion can say their "God" or prophet rose from the grave.

Here's the real kicker, ALL religions lead to GOD. Christianity is the only one that prepares you for that meeting. In other words, we will all be judged on day! Only those who are forgiven will be found righteous.

You cannot see that the christian heaven is appealing to the flesh and that hell is pain and suffering, something the flesh wants to avoid. Christianity is built around the phsical senses as well.

I think you are taking my statement "they all have a commonality - faith" in a christian perspective. I am not argueing works vs faith but that there is no logical reason to believe in any of these religions - there is no hard evidence. The belief is based on dogma and faith that that dogma is reality.

The difference between these religions and yours is you are better prepared to defend the dogma of your religion. Just as a Hindu would be better prepared to defend the dogma of his.

All religions take mankinds ignorance exploit it and appeal to the flesh. As man gains knowledge religions collapse or adapt. Defenders will use metaphors, translation errors and faith as their rationalization.
