Mick- I see the confusion. The men were from centuries ago. The men who drew and carved the dinosaur pictures were from a time period before any of those specific dinosaurs fossils were ever discovered. Sorry about the confusion, but what I was trying to get across is, how can a man draw something he has never seen before? I think these men did see these creatures. I don't know what killed them off but I don't any longer believe they were here 100's of million of years ago. Trust me, it's been a very hard conversion. But if you heard all the data I heard at that seminar you would question a lot too.

Look now at the behemoth, which I made along with you; He eats grass like an ox. See now, his strength is in his hips, And his power is in his stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar; The sinews of his thighs are tightly knit. His bones are like beams of bronze, His ribs like bars of iron.

Here's the kicker, if you look at the roots of a T-Rex's teeth there's no way he was a meat eater His teeth would of come out if he ripped into the flesh of another dinosaur, because the roots are to shollow to support meat eating. So he would of dies afetr about 10-20 meals if that much.

If you notice in that Scripture says man and dinosaurs were created at the same time.

I understand. I have seen on a television documentary that the Eqyptians have hieroglyphics showing what look like astronauts in cockpits with full instrumentation. They have also found what look like modern batteries from the stone age period. This is all very fasinating. Actually i think i read that the DNA is composed of mostly proteins and amino acids, but they also break down into a type of sub-atom structure that is seen in every other living creature. Without it life does not exist, but what is its makeup and how does it come to light? I don't think we will ever know.

I agree.

My take on this is that the age of man is less than 6000 years old. The 6 days of creation with the 7th day being a day of rest is a model for the history of man. Each day of creation is equal to a thousand years of our history. Don't confuse this. Each day of creation was only a literal 24 hour day, but each of those days represent 1000 years of our history. You can add up the ages in the Bible to verify this. This will blow your mind when you consider that with Adam living over 900 years, he existed for almost 1/6 of the entire history of man or 1/2 of the time from creation to the flood.
My personal opinion is, the flood is when the dinosuars ceased to exist.

I find very amusing that most people have to look it this topic one way or the other. Why cant it be both? The truth is God did create/design the universe/humans and all life though a process of evolution over hundreds of thousands of years.The Bible was written by men who have a vested interest in keeping people and their tithes in church.
Don't get me wrong Jesus was God in physical form but most of the bible is a myth.
2000 years and we still think he's coming back someday to save the world. I thought he saved it the first time? And yes I have read the bible, scary story. Lots of sex and violence. No wonder its so popular. LOL

The Bible is not myth and it can't be both ways. The Bible in Hebrew is the word for good news. Good because it is Gods word, not mans! When God completed creation he said it was very good. Death did not enter the world until Adam sinned. Period. Now, if evolution came before man how could those animals have died when death didn't enter the world until Adam sinned? It's impossible. God said himself that because of Adams sin he would curse all living things with death.

You either believe the Bible or you believe the world. You either serve God or you serve the world. You can't do both in either case. That too is impossible. The heart has only one master. And you must obey that master.

Because there's only one Truth, they both can't be truth, there can't be 2.

What is your basis for this as being truth?

We don't adopt the world view or philosophy of how the world came into existence, we take what was written in His word. I quoted 2 Scripture but I'll do it again

II Corinthians 10:5

He died for the sins of the world, in His first coming. I don't want to get into the theological part of his second coming right now.

If that's all you got out of the Bible, then I'd say you need to read it again. There are those things but in all that there's lots of grace and mercy. The best part is when you realize that the God that gave the 10 commandments, came down lived in human flesh to fulfill those commands. Then take the penalty that comes with braking those commands, so that we could be free from them when we believe in what He did for us. If we don't believe we will be judge by them because we are still under the law when we don't believe.
