See, thats just the idea. What ever sparked the Big Bang is what I will call "god"
God is a name for reference to whatever started the big bang, plain and simple.

I don't believe it's watching every move we make, I don't believe it's created a "reward"(heaven) for living by a code of man made guidlines.

"God", was created by man in order to cope with the unknown, and the fact the their existence is not eternal.

I don't believe in organized religion, but I do feel it is extremely important in order to maintain social civility. Morals are a human concept, and can be developed without religion, but most automatically associate moral obligation with "god". It's brainwashed into children by their parents. now don't get all bent out of shape from the word "brainwash", we'll use ingrained if you like. Either way, religion thrives on effecting thought before cognitive reasoning is developed
IMO, religion is death by conformity, but on the flip side of that, I believe the meaning of life is to have one. If a person is happiest devoting their life to a religion, then their life has it's meaning.

Most who don't believe in "god" in whatever form, try and find ways to discredit the religion they are denying. I don't think their is anything to discredit as "religion" and 'god" are imagination. Forms of undisputable(in the eyes of the beholder) answers to what is to come next; a certainty that they will continue on. A coping tool.

I tried reading the bible, but there are too many characters to follow. I get all confused. Plus the pages are really really thin. Llike tissue paper.

The bible and the commandments are man written bro.

The burning bush, the parting sea, Noahs ark, walking on water. Those are supposed to be metaphores if you dodn't catch that the first time around.

Morals are a human concept, as morals are interpreted by man. You don't know that it's morally wrong to kill because you read that in Sunday school. It's a form of common sense derived from formation of rational thought. Right and wrong is learned far before a human has any idea what "God" and "religion" are

Instead of arguing with you bro as you seem like an intelligent human being. We will agree to disagree. This could get lengthy if we start this argument. But in the end, we will prolly agree to disagree anyway.

Yes the bible is man written. It was penned by over 40 godly authors inspired by God over 1500 hundred years never contradicting itself in 3 langauges.

YOu don't think their are contradictions in Christian study? Bro, I tell you what. I'm at work right now, but either tonight, or tomorrow, I will grab my files and post up some contradictions for you.
I'll even list upwards of around 12 "gods" that were all worshipped before Christiandom, and that were all born of a virgin. Even one of them with a worshiped birthday of Dec 25. This particualr "god" was Mithra, worshipped roughly 650BC. Christians in early yrs of the faith came up with the Satanic Time Travel Theory in order to discredit the Mithra "cult" as they are refered to now.

I study Christain and Pagan religion as a hobby so I'll be glad to get into a debate. If your only reference to evidence is the bible, just list them. I don't need explainations as I've read it 4 times.

I was born a Christian bro, so don't think I don't understand where you coming from. I just developed my individual belief after cognitive though was developed

Hey, but it's a valid question about the thin paper right? I mean, how about some good quality heavy paper that you can really feel?

I believe in God....... im in a antropology class right now, and evolution is nothing but one giant hypothisis, one big guess

but we still got more facts pointing towards the evolution than the exsistance of god...
