Ah, but you said it yourself: main SUSPECT! I agree that it sure LOOKS like it'd be you, but it's not proof.

I also agree that Saddam is a living piece of crap that needs to die. I'm also glad he's gone.

BUT, the fact remains that the war was set on the precidence that Iraq had WMD. Iraq allowed weapons inspectors to search for them before the war and even co-operated with them (mostly). Yet Bush went ahead with the war while the rest of the world was saying "Give the inspectors more time, wait to see if they find any". And guess what? None have been found! Who's got egg on their face now?

But we're straying from what started this discussion in the 1st place. The referance to sept 11... I believe that the events of sept11 has little link to Iraq, not enough to declare war at least.

Now if Bush had declared war because of the attrocities done to the Iraqi people, he wouldn't be in this pickle would he?

As for the UN......saddam kicked them out of the country, he threatined the inspectors with violence in the first war. I think bush had bad intel. reports......but he knew that he had to be stopped. If he doesn't and then next year someone takes out some more buildings out with high jacked planes.....think of what that would cause.
You have to do what you have to do, to make your country and people who live in that country safe.

Yes... like I said, I'm not against the war on Iraq. I just think that the american people went into it on the wrong stance. I have suspicions that they were led to believe that Saddam and Iraq were more of a threat than they really were.

There's no doubt in my mind that americans were and are only trying to do the right thing.

You never know. If Iraq is linked to Afghanistan enough to warrent war, then Canada is linked to the US enough for us to be a potential target.

As for the war, in the mind of a patriotic American, the war started on 9/11 when those mofo's commited acts of terror by crashing into the twin towers killing hundreds of people!! Not to mention crippling our economy to a certain extent. IMO action should have been taken within a week or two! But no, we had to wait just to please the Liberals. At least Bush has the balls to do something about it!! That needle dick Al Gore probably wouldn't have done a damn thing. Saddam is the ****** of today! The Brits and the U.S. are the ones that have decided to liberate the Iraqi people from Saddam's regime. Some love us for it, and some still will hate us no matter what.
