That'd be really sweet, but don't go to too much trouble.

My grandfather worked in a machine shop for 20 years, so he's got some equipment and an arc welder.... so I have the ability to build my own, it's just that it'll take me forever cause I suck at this stuff and don't know how to weld so I have to go get gramps every time I want to weld.

Well, I can weld.. it's just that Gramps is WAY better at it.. and on the mustang I want to get the best job possible.

Cutting and bending the material is my biggest problems. Only have a acetyline torch or a hacksaw for cutting, have no way of bending.

Awesome! Thanks NJ. Yes, tig is the way to go. And yeah, there shouldn't be any bending needed. I was thinking of putting a couple of sideways braces between the 2 connectors to help stiffen the chasis even more. These would need to droop or be bent to clear the driveshaft. This way I get a driveshaft safety loop out of the deal as well. But that's something I can do after the connectors are in.

well got gear my suggesationw itht aht is put and "x" brace between connectors and in middle mandrel bend tubing not square tubing for extra strenght and drive shaft loop but if ur really concerend botu chassis flex put a 6 pt cage in a gace a conenctors is all u need to toff chasis flex

No way I'm screwing up my interior by putting a cage in!

X brace sounds better, but the driveshaft will get in the way.

              BB: Preacher pic? Where!?!
