        Well Shit NJ.

Buy some mufflers, some pipe and a couple of exhaust cutouts. THat way you can uncap the exhaust for the track, then cap em back up for cruising.

I love a nice loud car... but open headers on a built engine are just too much..
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

Well I kinda figured it was done up good when you mentioned that you tubbed the rear. That usually requires a little HP in order to make it worthwhile.

I like being able to talk to my passangers.

Chances are that the interior is partially stripped as well correct? Getting rid of that sound deadening material doesn't help the noise either..

What are you running for a powerplant?
BBC with 11:1 compression I assume.

8.75:1 hey? A blower motor! Nice!

I love seeing Ford rear axles under a chevy.. at least you know Ford could make a good axle if nothing else.

31" slicks hey? I'll bet you can pull the front wheel(s).

Yes, I'd put in some decent brakes as well. Going fast is kinda hard when you can't slow down.

Luckily for me my mustang came with the optional power front disk brakes. Still drums on the rear.

Nice job on the cage dumbass! Just weld another bar from the proper mounting spot up and over to your exhisting bar. Change it from a 6pt cage to an 8pt cage if you get what I mean.

Dana 60? Was that ever really an option? Why not a 14bolt FF? Cheaper AND slightly lighter. Still not a Ford 9" tho

Sounds like you guys really know how to fabricate.

14Bff and Dana 60.. are both truck axles. And I swear the 14B isn't any more beastly than the D60.

Definately sounds like it's going to be a pretty damn fast car!

I've got to build some subframe connectors myself. Already had to repair a crack in 1 of my torque boxes.

Ah.. that'll explain some of it.

                              80lbs heavier that a D60? Really?

Yeah, talk to that dude about the subframes. Cheapest I've seen is approx $160 for the pair. And by the time I ship em up the Canada, pay exchange, pay taxes, pay duties, it ends up costing me about double what the catalogue price is.. so $320 Cdn.
