Fatty Liver actually what is it? How dangerous is it? Any supplements and or home remedies to fix it?
Man this is the million dollar question. There’s fatty liver and non alcoholic fatty liver or NAFL. Search on YouTube, search on Reddit, search on google…ten million different options. Many of them opposing in philosophy and practice.
I’ve fought NAFL for years and who knows how long I’ve had it. There’s some good cleanses to try and initially you get some amazing things come out of your liver that is outer worldly. These weird off colored clumps of oil all the way to almost metallic pebbles.
It’s trippy. I’ve tried ten or more different remedies and they all do about the same. Some of our old school things like milk thistle, tudca, olive leaf, NAC… they still work and def keep them in there but until you get some inflammation down the worst part is fat oxidation does not happen. Work out all you want but if the liver can get rid of that fat it stays right there!
i dont have it but mine gets angry from time to time. i have heard really good stuff about the regular use of caster oil packs and the supps that 6 suggested as well. i do the packs just to keep mine functioning as optimal as possible.
they just approved a med for treatment but idk anything about it and i am sure it is god awful expensive and probably comes with a boat load of side effects
There are a lot of lifestyle things that could help. I'd start by making sure your diet is cleaned up and get rid of foods that cause higher amounts of inflammation. (Sugar, highly processed foods, etc...) You could try some intermittent fasting here and there to see if that helps and include some support supps that benefit liver function. NAC and Tudca would be the first two I would throw in. Make sure your getting in enough fiber and also cut out any compounds that are known to increase your liver enzymes.
Do those teas flush/detox work? There are so many to choose from.
absolutely not man.
and to touch off of what yohimbe said, what i have seen that has the biggest impact is cutting out carbs pretty much entirely. i know that is pretty shitty but it seems to be the biggest suggestion i have seen from multiple docs. the liver packs with caster oil is pretty simple. just soak a cloth in it and put it on the liver with a hot water bottle or heating pad for 30-60min while watching tv ed for a week and then eod for 6-8 weeks. that should help out a ton
Going to order the packs and the cold pressed oil. Let the healing begin. I will try it on liver and kidney first. Where else is beneficial? Just a thought a drop or 2 of DMSO to help it through the skin?
I ordered the jamican type I read the difference and the black seed seemed what I needed. I ordered a cheap wrap fore liver and kidney. I will give updates on the use and how it works.
it just needs to be organic in a glass bottle or a plastic one that is approved not to have all the nasty chems in it. that way it doesnt leach inside of you when you heat it up
