Ezekiel bread and "not" Ezekiel bread?

I like the cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread as an occasional snack, but there is something that confuses me.

There is the package that actually says Ezekiel on it and there is another one that looks almost identical, but doesn't say Ezekiel. Both say "Food for Life" and the rest of the packaging is almost exactly the same, but one says Ezekiel and one doesn't.

I can tell a difference in the bread. The Ezekiel package seems like the slices are bigger and have a slightly better taste. I thought maybe it was just me, so I switched it up on my girl without telling her it was the different package and she asked me what happened to the Ezekiel bread lol.

Anybody know what the difference is? Looks like they're made by the same company and almost identical in packaging except for that one word and the taste.

no clue man, look on the label and see whats in it different. i always go for the ez one myself personally and have never tried the other one. i like the dave's killer breads also but if you dont eat them quick enough they go bad. i also found that the dave's burger buns in the green bags will absolutely destroy your guts haha

Haha mental note to stay away from the Dave's burger buns. I'm going to check the labels next time I'm in the store. The bags look almost identical like they're made by the same company, but one says Ezekiel and the other doesn't. I like the Ezekiel better.

I like Ezekiel bread but I never buy it. Prob healthier than reg bread. I toast it in the skillet with EVOO instead of butter and then put home made grape jelly on it. (My sis has a grapevine that takes half of her back yard) Delicious!

Daves bread is top notch but expensive. I like the burger buns. We never had a prob with them. I make peanut butter (sometimes nutella) and banana sandwiches with them. AWESOME treat.

I checked the labels on both and they are slightly different. The only significant difference I could see was one has more grains that the other. The slices in the package that says Ezekiel are slightly bigger and the texture is different.

Still don't know why it looks like the same company makes two products almost identical, but slightly different. I'm sticking with the one that says Ezekiel.

haha, if it tastes better and has a good profile that's the one i would use. you should try the dave's man. it's really good also

Ezekiel’sraisin bread rocks plus it’s frozen so you can eat it slowly instead of wasting bread to mold when it’s not eaten fast enough.

Also don’t get too caught up In the bread wars. Daves killer something (can’t remember all of it) or similar bread with some gluten is ok.coming from a guy with gluten allergies. I’ve found out, that like many things, it’s not necessarily GLUTEN that I’m alergic too it’s gluten where the ORIGIN is genetically modified like shit froM Monsatto.

Shit that genically tampered with is fucking all of us. The best diet is to say did God make it? And stay as close to that as you can. Tons of shit you can’t get around…like I can hardly stomach meat in super markets anymore. Bison from sources is my primary source.
