Well there is a legit reason. I am not scared of corona but it has had $ trillions in negative impact. I just hope China learns from this. They are the reason it exists.
Being clean will not help unfortunately. Masks ect are only partially effective AT BEST.

wash your damn hands and stay at home if you are sick. pretty easy fix to me and please stop buying up all the shit paper. went to sams this weekend and they had zero shit paper. of all the things to stock up on and i am pretty sure this virus doesnt give you the jungle shits and we can live without tp last time i checked. washing your ass after a dump might suck but you could get by. people are stupid. no hand sanitizer, no bleach, no disinfectant wipes and no tp. if you only buy what you need, you dont fuck over the rest of the population
I went to the grocery store this morning and people were packed in there like sardines, long lines and wall to wall people, all coughing and breathing on each other. One way to avoid COVID-19 : Dont go to the store!
The grocery stores are insane. I drove around for ever today trying to find one bottle of isopropyl alcohol. Nothing anywhere. People are panic buying everything. The meat department was completely cleaned out at several stores. The sad thing is these idiots aren't going to be able to eat all this meat and I'm pretty sure none of them have multiple deep freezers to store it all, so it'll all end up going bad before they can consume it. Then they're just going to throw it out. All of that going to waste. It's terrible.
Fuzo and I just watched what people had in their carts! We did pick up some extra food but I always want more food in the house,lol. That chaotic energy is too much for me...best for me to stay away from the stores. I did go to the craft store with our daughter, because we get crafty, and I tell you this store was DEAD!
I don't understand the panic and chaos especially over toilette paper. Stupid people.
I bought 3 cases of hand sanitizer from dollar tree couple of years ago. Why 3 cases, so I could get free shipping. Got plenty left.
Went to walmart yesterday for new gaming headphones. The grocery side of the store was MANIC! the electronics, sporting goods and housewares was empty. I got help to open the case for the headphones immediately. Normally you have to have someone call another employee who calls another and finally someone shows 20 minutes later. Also traffic is not quite as bad. By about 10-15%. Gas prices are CHEAP!
So there are some benefits.

Plausible but not likely. All this did if it was a feint was disrupt their own economy way worse than ours and made pandemic response a priority. If another ever happens you bet the feds, hospitals, ect will be WAY better prepared. Also big pharma sees a chance for profit, so research into likely pandemics and vaccines will garner more research $$$. That is why having several corporations doing 100X the research a gov agency in a socialist country is good.
I could see the chinese gov releasing a contagion among their own but this cost them $ trillions. Not likely. Wet markets are the presumed and likely culprit.

This is uncertainty like never before. A month ago the economy was booming and businesses were hiring and growing. Now the whole damn country is shut down and I dont know if my job will be there this week or not
