  • Ice bath post workout

Pretty proud of our daughter who got through 12 minutes of an ice water bath! HA! Fuzo was cheering her on, for the first 2 minute,s until she could handle it. I was covering my,ears,,lol. Her newest trainer worked her out really good, and instructed her to go home and do this. Yesterday morning she felt no soreness at all. I think it made her a believer in a few things!

Any of you guys do this?

In the winter I will shower then turn the hot water off. It comes out about 42-43 degrees when it is really cold out. I can only stand it for a minute or two.

Lol ! Yeah me too, with the cold shower. So basically your peripheral blood vessels constrict to direct warm flow to the heart. I need to read up on that as therapy.

I've never done it, but that's awesome she lasted 12 minutes! I don't know if I would last 12 seconds lol. May have to give it a try after one of my brutal leg, or back days and see.

only soaking your lower body isnt that bad(well it isnt as bad) i hurt my neck in high school and had to submerge my entire body up to my chin. the trainers had to hold me in the tub for every duration. i told them i would play hurt to not go through that again

                  How cool! 12 minutes. Dang
I did a cryo tank once at -200 degrees and I couldnt hang. I yelled for the girl to turn it off after 90 seconds. I paid for 10 visits and never went back LOL
