damn straight and that's exactly why people in the service industry that are great make really good money. a friend of mine's dad owns a denny's in town and he told me that his best waitresses that work a little over full time can make damn close to 6 figures with tips and over time. he will also go in and if the place is dirty or see's someone providing shitty service will fire them and the manager on the spot. that dude dont play around with his business. a barber that i am damn good friends with makes so much money(and he is damn good) that he takes off whenever he wants and always has a line 2-3 hours deep of people waiting on him. he is the owner so he calls the shots. prime examples of perform at your best and you can be damn successful in the service industry

years ago when my wife was bartending she would make 200-300 in tips on a tuesday night. the bar had what they called coin night so any drink was a coin. on a friday night it was ladies night so ladies drank for free until midnight she would make 400-500.00 per night in tips. after we started dating she quit that job and said it wasnt a place for a person in a relationship to be at. ever since then we dont out to bars without each other..
