Colossal Cave in AZ

Well business in AZ hasn’t let me do as many big adventures in my other states so been taking the time to explore close to home. I’ve driven past the sign for the colossal Cave state park a hundred times on my way to the border or NM.

Finally stopped and what an experience! They got lighting throughout so it makes for a cool experience. It’s a “dry cave” so the formations are dormant. Pretty cool! Makes you wonder how many other incredible subterranean worlds there are underneath us!

That's freaking awesome bro. I've toured a couple of different caves and caverns down here in the south. It's always so cool to see all these little underground worlds.

Looks like y'all had fun!

I love caves. Been to Carlsbad and natural bridge caverns. I also got to go into a cave in Gorman falls Tx that was NOT a tourist cave. We had to crawl through cracks in the rock and wade through water and there was no power in the cave, our flashlights were the only light. There was actually a spot where there was a rope that you followed under water into another room.

Thats cool. I saw a Nova special last week of some caves like that in africa that they found human bones from like a million years ago. They found 18 whole skeletons
