  • Question about chest being sore.

Brothers, I have been training for a long time, but only recently have I noticed that the next few days after training chest, the area from my sternum to about my nipples hurts. It feels sometimes like what I would think a heart attack would feel like. It goes away about the time it is chest day again. Nothing really new with my training, or anything else.

    What are your thoughts?

i get the same thing from time to time also man. it is especially bad when i go really hard on stretching movements. what i have been told is that the fibers that are holding the pecs to your sternum are just tight and sore from training. if i get my chest busted up with graston or iastm from my pt, i dont have it happen at all for a long time. well that's a good indicator for me that its time to get it done again haha

For some reason when I train, my chest is always a little sore the next day. Almost always...and I've been working out for years

Mine gets that way sometimes too bro, like a really deep radiating soreness starting in my sternum. It doesn't happen after every chest day, but sometimes it hurts pretty bad especially if I reach for something real quick and stretch it. I feel like I'm noticing more of these odd sorenesses the older I get.

It is not as bad now, but holy shit did it hurt the last week and the first of this week. I am also doing more stretching so that could cause it as well. Just have to get it done.
