What do you think? Is this true?

i completely agree. it's all about where the muscle and tendons insert. if you have long ass arms and biceps, then you will never get a peak unless you put oil in there and then it will just look stupid. it's all in how your muscles and tendons are setup

damn man, you have a distal tendon rupture? did you lose any strength in that arm? i have heard that they dont repair the tendon from the bicep to the shoulder very often but they always do the distal. one of my buddies has ruptured both and he said they have to fix it because that's where the majority of the strength in the arm comes from

I tore the long head of my bicep at the shoulder attachment. I learned that it is maybe the only tendon in the human body that we can rupture and not lose function. The surgeon told me that any surgery he would do would be strictly cosmetic and would not change the strength or function. So I opted not to get it fixed. It is pretty obvious to anyone who sees my arm that I have a ruptured bicep. Its deformed. But I love it because It makes that bicep look just enormous in a tshirt. The tshirt covers the big gap in my bicep and just exposes the big bicep which has a permanent peak. lol... I honestly dont think I have lost any strength on that side. I can do curls with no pain, it doesnt hurt at all..I had my arms up to 20" with a torn tendon but I think I am down to 18 now.

John Elway once tore the long head bicep tendon in a preseason game, they never operated on it and they won the super bowl. So yes, the long head of the bicep is a tendon we can do without

I've been chasing the bicep peak my whole life lol. My genetics just aren't there for it. My biceps are shaped more like a football. Big and full, but not much of a peak.

My arms seem to get thicker but never had that peak. My muscle tie in all the way down to the elbow with no space.

I popped that bicep tendon doing pullups in the gym. Was a very loud POP! I have had a hellatious bicep peak on that side ever since. So dont say you can never have a bicep peak. If you can find a way to tear the tendon, you can also have a good bicep peak lol

i like my tendons in tack dzone. my arms peak pretty well though and so do my calves. you want to talk about crazy, i tore my middle hamstring muscle and both the tendons that hold it in place. so i have a cool ass softball on the back of my leg when i flex it. it looks pretty cool too. most people just think it's a cool striation but it is both a full rupture of the muscle and tendons. hurt like a mother fucker
