right now. I am not training real hard but happy with what I am doing. I really focus on whatever muscle I am working and it is amazing how it makes me feel. I get so focused that if Fuzo walks up next to me I jump...and then yell at him for doing so,lol

Re: Focus is on mind to muscle...
So true, I see so many people in the gym with their phones out, dancing in between sets to what's on their headphones, etc... I'm completely zoned in during my workouts. I've always trained that way, just laser focused. So many people seem to just float through the gym absent mindlessly flopping on a piece of equipment, doing a few sets then on to the next one. Completely clueless of the mind muscle connection.
One interesting thing I heard Dallas McCarver (RIP brother) say when people always mention the genetics of elite bodybuilders compared to their own, saying that's why they aren't able to achieve that level of physique. He said most people never train to their full potential, so they actually have no idea what their genetics truly are capable of when it comes to building their physique. That statement always sticks in my head when I'm training. When I know I can get two more, but choose not to and justify it because "It's been a long day and I'm tired." That statement always pushes me to go the extra mile. I wish I would have heard that many years ago.Last edited by Yohimbe; 08-31-2017, 12:01 AM.
