  • Barbell rows...underhand grip or regular....

    What is everyone's preferred method of doing the barbell row? I do mine underhand. I get a better pull and feeling in my back when I do it that way.

    Overhand, less bicep and more back for me.

      i agree with max and unless you have some seriously flexible wrists. they put your wrists under a hell of a lot of strain. if you want to take them to the next level do them in the smith. it allows you to lock into position and you can control the focus and tension much better on the back

        It seems to help my carpal tunnel when I do this under hand. So going extremely heavy is out of the question. I can do heavy deadlifts tho if I do one over one under

          I do both ways but my preference is Ez curl bar for underhand rows

            I usually go overhand. Underhand hurts my wrists too much.
