  • Straps - Who uses wrist straps

I used to but not right now. If my grip strength got in the way of my back workouts I will again.

due to nerve death i am forced to use them with damn near everything that i do. i wont let it set me back so i just go with it. i have gotten really good lock in with the old school shorty wraps. so i can wrap it around one time and go at it, instead of having to wrap around a few times. i do get some direct and indirect forearm stuff in but my grip strength on my bad side is damn near nonexistant

I use them depending on what I'm doing. If I'm really hammering it on back day or doing shrugs I'll use them to squeeze in those extra few reps I normally wouldn't be able to get.

Just like any old guy telling a young trainer...USE them save your wrists. If you don't compete powerlifting then frigging use them!

I use them. They help on pullups and I like to sometimes use them on the dip bar . If Im not trying to win a powerlifting meet, I will use them on heavy deadlifting every time

I like to sometimes. Definitely enjoy wearing wrists. I broke my left wrist five years ago and it hasn't been the same since.
