Fuzo got me one about 7 years ago because I needed the motivation. She was so great. I just need someone to get me back in the groove. Things have kept me out of the gym, and I know I have to modify things greatly but I am ready. I just need the jumpstart, and if I have time scheduled with a trainer, I will not miss it for anything

i am available to yell and motivate whenever it is needed baby1. it's much warmer where i am also so road trip?
you know what you need that works better than a trainer though in all seriousness? a goal that holds you accountable and an end state. a competition, a weight moved, a reunion or something of that nature. something that will drive you day in and day out to make it happen no matter what. get fired up and tear the goals up as you goTGBSupplements REP

Re: thinking I need a trainer
there is a pefect big goal. start small, like i am going to go x amount of days a wk. then i am going to add x amount of cardio. then start getting the i am going to lose x amount of bf % per month. small goals to the end state large goals are money. i think the hardest other than working around your situations is starting off slowly and building off of that. i know you try to go balls out and that is counter productive and sets you back. you got this, mark down the big goal date at the end and then do daily weekly and monthly goals to hit. check them puppies off and give yourself kudos each and every time you hit themOriginally posted by BABY1 View PostI like both of those ideas! My 30th HS reunion is this year, lol. I haven't gone to any though and I went to school with all girls anyway. Fuzos is this year to so maybe his?TGBSupplements REP

Re: thinking I need a trainer
everything you sadi is so right guns. I also am a fan of small steps, and adding more as one goes along, at least that is what I tell others to do when they need help, lol. I have a hard time taking my own advice so I will take yours. My plan is to get back in there on Tuesday. I really hate to spend the money on a trainer when fuzo and I both know what I need to do. I have thought of going with him but we both like our own time at the gym and we do not go at the same time of the day. thanks for your help guns. what you can do is call our phone in the morning and yell at me to get to the gym, lolVeritas Vos Liberabit

Re: thinking I need a trainer
Ok guns so I talked to fuzo about setting a goal for myself. I told him we can get to looking awesome for his 30th reunion. His answer was that he really doesn't want to go and if he did he would go BIG like he is now, lol. So I came up with another goal. As we used to enjoy bubbles baths together, in our oh so small tub now, which he cant even fit into alone. I told him he needs to shrink so we can do that again one day, lmao. Probably not what mort people would set as a goal but it is an important one for us

on a funny side note, we have a pretty large tub and i dont fit in that bad boy to well either. show ready maybe but that only lasts for about a wk then no bueno on the bath tube for me. we had a jucuzzi tube in our old house and i could only get my legs down into that one and it would shoot water out the top. so i was screwed on that tube as well. it's cool being slightly above the normal guy but we really dont fit or work into normal people spaces and places hahaTGBSupplements REP

Re: thinking I need a trainer
This is exactly what I do all the time. I'm always training for something. I set goals and things I want to achieve by a certain date and it keeps me pushing hard and accountable. Could be a vacation, reunion, holiday get together, etc... Anything I can use as motivation to keep pushing forward toward my goals.Originally posted by guns01 View Postyou know what you need that works better than a trainer though in all seriousness? a goal that holds you accountable and an end state. a competition, a weight moved, a reunion or something of that nature. something that will drive you day in and day out to make it happen no matter what. get fired up and tear the goals up as you go
I also don't fit in the bathtub either lol.

Re: thinking I need a trainer
YEAH! I got myself back to the gym this morning. I am following the advice of taking this really slow. I only ended up doing about 2 miles on the indoor track at a moderate pace. It felt good to be back. I stepped on the scale and have lost 7 pounds since I have been there. now some women may think that's great but that is not for me. As it is important to maintain lean muscle tissue, it is more important and this age. so I will continue to go slow and add a little at a time. I have an MRI to get tomorrow of my neck so after that I will see what's going on and go from there. AS far as a goal, I have set one but it is one I am going to keep to myself, lol. For motivation? Well, I will continue to go along with who has motivated since I heard I was pregnant.
My motivation, I would like to believe she has my genetics

Re: thinking I need a trainer
I agree, set a goal and write it down, a goal that is written down is more likely to be accomplished, I then post the goals inside my vanity above my sink in the bathroom so I see it all the timeOriginally posted by guns01 View Posti am available to yell and motivate whenever it is needed baby1. it's much warmer where i am also so road trip?

since I don't' compete I use the summer vacation as the end point of the goal, being in a bathing suit is a great motivator
