I am older and hurt my shoulders and elbows benching heavy not 500 lbs like Fuzo but once I go over 200 lbs their is a danger of blowing something. My lifts are always in the 15 reps or more range. My goals are not how much I lift but how good I look. The question is can a sling shot help to build a better look by allow me to move more weigh with out injuries?

Re: Sling Shot?
yes, it has helped fuzo a lot. He has had 3 shoulders surgeries (both), neck surgeries, both hands surgery on...one would never know it. His shoulder doc gave him a tip for lifting to take stress off the shoulders and his shoulders have been great ever since surgery and that was almost 15 years ago.Veritas Vos Liberabit

Re: Sling Shot?
I don't use this for every chest press work out I use it 2x a month but it helps the shoulders and elbows takes the pressure off the shoulders and elbows .Its Like a Bench Shirt its strictly for me for lifting heavier weight but there are 4 different ones ,Blue,Red,yellow Black.
Blue is for lighter weight up to say 275 mabey , Red one I would say 365-405 tops Black is strictly 405+ the yellow one they made it to fit all the way up on the bicep its like the red one but fits a little different. There is a measuring chart to determine the fit.Its for the serious lifter who wants to increase there Bench press,Its not for the Inlince or decline just the chest press .I guess you can use it all the time if you have serious injuries and want to take pressure off sore shoulders and elbows.I do use it for part of that but I trained with it to get stronger that's why I didn't use it every time.I used chains, bands, lot of west side technique I used blocks.Try it out it does take some time to get used to it.Disclaimer: Steroid use is illegal in a vast number of countries around the world. Re: Sling Shot?
I have the blue one and I love it. It works great for the 250 to 300lb range. Like fuzo, I throw it in once and a while not every workout.
With the momentum you can lock out a lot more than you naturally can. You feel the strain in your wrists, forearms, and tri bigtime.
I love it and this thread reminds me I need to dust it off.
Adds a solid 50lbs to my bench.
You just need to get the technique down. It's simple just don't try it on you 1RM max for the 1st time.
It's great for overloading the pecs. When your done with regular bench work and smoked you can put that on and keep killing it..
