  • chest exercise

I have tried all the tricks in bench press
    pinch back together
    elbows in
    arch back
    and more

but my arms get exhausted before I feel it in pecs.

Shouls I concentrate on flies instead of bench?

Maby try hammer machines for a mth or two this will let u lift heavier and your arms will last longer. This should build up ur arm strength before switching back to the bar it worked for me

Thanks. My arms are taking a beating. My weight in bench is decent but pecs are not getting enough. I will try the machine.

For me nothing blows up my pecs like close grip bench. Dont even have to go real heavy. That, and cross over cables...whew

take a look at doing some iso holds at the end of your work sets man. they are excrutiating and pump the crap out of chest. you can use them on any chest movement you choose to do

I did the cable crossover. I saw some doing it low, waist or lower and some chest high. What is the difference?
BTW I did both as well as held at beginning and end of each movement. WOW

                  Re: chest exercise

Stick with basics first,do bench press do reps of 8 5-6 sets then go to incline same thing reps 8 sets 5-6 then go to cables cross overs or a fly pec machine Done see how you feel then if things go well after your 2 presses bench, incline start doing other stuff all the time do incline dumbells then icline hammer strength machine, I always end my chest with dips even if I cant do a lot or use the dip machine that helps you ift up. But always stick with the basic presses and even from time to time do Incline press first then bench then everything else. Even at home do push ups keep your chest guessing

SO you mean to warm up with cable flyes or do complete sets before DB bench?

Sure, lots of ways to skin it. Flat db flys followed by incline barbell, cable flyes followed by flat dumbbell press, etc etc. change it up
