  • Lack of pump

One thing as I’ve gotten older that is frustrating as fuck is going through these week or two phases where the pump seems hard to get. This past week has been brutal, decent workouts and waking up sore af but man just not hitting those peaks this week

It will swing back around brutha. You know changing things will help. Could be stress too?

That happens to me really bad when I'm stressed and tired. Especially if I'm lacking on sleep. I can get to the gym and actually have a pretty decent workout, but my pump is crap.

we could run the gambit of things it could be. 1- training has stagnated 2- to much or to little glycogen 3- loss of insulin sensitivity 4- over trained 5- stress or even 6- under or over hydrated.

what i would do is take a few extra days off to start with and take a look at what carbs i am eating around training. then see what happens from there.

Takes me a bit to get a good pump going as well. Mine is probably dehydration a bit because in and drink a lot of water like I used to

Or all the above! Great response...training is great but stress, glycogen, limited rest, and hydration are prob a combined mess. Seems like they are revolving issues week to week as I solve one. Some like sleep can’t be solved on some days!
