        Re: HGH and injuries

Healed my rotator cuff in 3 months, however I had already been on it for about 4-5 months prior to the injury and that would play a major role beings it takes so time obviously to get the full benefits of it. As well as dose and quality of product being just as important.

GH (and IGF1) may surely contribute to proper rehabilitation and strengthening of any ligaments and connective tissue, one of their main mechanism is increasing fibroblasts activity and effect.

Having said that this is just one part in the puzzle of recuperation from an injury, and proper physiotherapy and nutritional support must be incorporated

When using hgh, for healing reasons, does the dose regimen duration etc change based on one's age?

I'm not familiar with a proven protocol for such recuperation, what I would do is aiming to 3-4 iu a day, take after a couple of week IGF1 serum tests and aim toward 250-300ng/ml range, of course adjust the dosage accordingly , higher IGF1 levels then this will carry more sides, and are more suited for complete anabolic purposes for BB and strength athletes, and lower will not carry the optimal rehabilitation effect the GH may support

                  Re: HGH and injuries

There isn't any human studies I could find on pub med regarding the healing power of HGH, I found some on rats coincidentally enough with rotator cuff injuries however they only ran hgh for 14 days in one study and 21 days in another before killing the rats to inspect for its healing properties in which they concluded of course there was no evidence to show it aids with recovery. Well durrr 2-3 weeks isnt going to do a god damn thing, However I can tell you from personal experience and friends experience it certainly helped my recovery and my cousins torn labrum as well as another friends torn pec. Now a multi-level fusion is far more serious an injury than I went through and I would certainly expect a long recovery period regardless of what you do. That's a very debilitating injury and you don't want to rush back and have it fail.

you wont find them because it is illegal to use hgh for any off label use. most of the things you hear about it healing and helping is from illegal uses from athletes body builders and docs making educated guesses. the thing is just like pot the gov wont even approve or fund studies on the benefits of their use. only label use for gh is of course gh deficiency hell if you look around a bit you will find studies and docs saying that gh doesnt increase muscle or really do anything positive at all

So age is not a factor in dosage and regimen, for healng purposes?

just guessing but i would assume that since it declines with age you would probably be able to do more with less as you get older. i am pretty sure the old timers that can afford it as a hrt medicine are only getting a couple of ius at a time. i am just guessing though but i would think only a little bit would go a long way. then again for healing or appearance purposes you want to get a little higher than what your natural levels would do

Kind of confirmed what I already thought, but I need an opinion from someone knowledgeable with this, thanks guns. We know dirtwarrior has had some ongoing things the past few months from what he has posted here and not knowing the ages of people, I just wan t people to take into consideration their age when making a decision rather than jumping on others' protocols.

thanks for the help guys. Great informative thread
