Olympia This Weekend!

Feels odd having it the weekend before Christmas, but the Mr. Olympia is this weekend.

Phil is coming back this year trying for #8 and has been a little quite so far, so I'm wondering what he's gonna be bringing to the stage. Of course Brandon is going to be defending the title. I saw a couple progress pics of Ramy and he looks great, but he always looks great before the show. Who knows what version of him will show up on the day. I was kinda bummed to hear Roelly will be out this year at the last minute. He posted that he tested positive for covid on his way here to compete.

I don't know where or who will be streaming it, but I'm sure someone will. I'll be watching.

big ramy i believe is full of shit. he dropped out of the last show before the olympia because he had covid, i am pretty sure that is still up on rxmuscle. def going to be an interesting olympia for sure esp since their is no free view and you have to pay to watch it. i was looking forward to seeing flex hold muscle and not drop so much and move into the open. i hope brandon or someone else wins, i freaking cant stand phil heath's arrogant ass. he is a terrible rep for our sport

cant stand that piece of trash man. i actually know a few top level 212 guys who say that he is one of the only pros that all the other guys actually cant stand. they all are pretty damn close for the most part and he is an outcast.

cool you guys are getting the pay per view, hopefully they dont fuck you like the last couple of shows with huge issues and piss poor quality. lots of people have been really upset about it

So far it's been pretty good quality on my end. I streamed it to my tv from my laptop and all went well. (Thankfully because it was $60) I watched prejudging this morning for several of the divisions. It's good to see Ms. Olympia back! Starts back up again this evening at 7pm eastern.

The press conference was pretty good. At first it sounded like Phil was making an attempt at improving his attitude, but he eventually disintegrated into the arrogant ass he is and talked his usual shit. Branden was super respectful. Dexter got a bit emotional since he is retiring after this year.

Watched prejudging last night. I think Phil looked terrible. He didn't fix anything with his midsection. He kept relaxing on stage and his gut would stick out. Brandon looked great, just lacking in the legs. Ramy was super impressive. He was HUGE, lean and solid. I think this is the best version of Ramy I've seen yet. Hadi also on point.

No telling which way the judges will go, but I'd say top 3 looks like Ramy, Brandon and Phil. Possibly Hadi in there.

all the write ups and commentators guessing are saying its ramy's to lose. say that brandons legs sucked and faded badly while posing and phil shit the bed as he continued to pose. big thing for the show is what adjustments were made last night and into today. pretty cool seeing all the new olympia champs. shawn clardia was awesome and that dude is tiny compared to the other 212 guys but damn if he hasnt made huge improvements and is a beast pealed to the bone.

Clardia, Bumstead and Ramy!! Mr. Olympia champs!!

Shaun Clardia looked great. He's got a lot of muscle packed on that frame. It was great watching him go toe to toe with Kamal. I say he definitely deserved the win.

Bumstead kicked ass this year as well. Clearly the winner in my opinion. The commentators were saying Breon should move up to 212 division. I don't know if I can see that, but maybe.

Big Ramy... The dude brought it. This was the best version of Ramy I've seen. He came is HUGE and his conditioning was great. He was the first in and last out of every pose. You can tell he put in some time on his posing. Brandon came in second and Phil third. You could see the fury on Phil's face. I honestly don't know what he was thinking when he came back. He was majorly off, his conditioning wasn't there and he looked tired most of the time. Brandon looked great, but his legs are such a weak point for him. They almost disappear from behind. Ramy though, he was impressive.

Already looking forward to next year lol.

glad to see all of those guys win. sucks to have a mr olympia that doesnt speak good english but the dude is humble and a great rep for the sport. seeing heath drop to 3d made my day. i freaking love it. if i were a beating man i foresee a lot of the dudes that didnt place as well as they should have blaming the virus on it, instead of taking stock on their actual performance. great show across the board though

This year was weird. Ramy deserved it though. Very humble and honestly didn’t seem like he was struggling. His stage presence was great, always posing and keeping his posture and head up while some of the other guys kept hunching and head down in between poses and what not. I know that’s not really the point but it just adds to a chanpion IMO.
Biggest issue I have with ramy is his back. Is WIDE but it’s smooth. If he can really build that backup he will be really hard to beat IMO.

I am a HUGE fan of Roelly and I’m super upset he didn’t make it. I hope he continues to make the changes he made this year and comes back next year and just blows us away.

I just saw pictures from December, was caught up with other things. Amazing how much bigger Ramy looked than everyone else, this are some gigantic guys.
He should, could hold on to the title long enough to break the record. 8 in a row I think. But, he still does not come close to beating Ronnie at his best. Ronnie would have crushed him from the back.
