  • Moral Question?????

I have high iron and high blood pressure right now and it clearly has something to do with AAS. So from what I understand donating blood helps with both of those problems. So the moral question comes: I must lie and say I do not us any type of injections on the paper work. Please share some advice.

tough one. I would say come off for several weeks then give blood. I do not know if they check the blood for more than HIV ect and I do not know if a steroid could have an effect on a human who receives it. Clearly you are not giving blood as a donation to be a philanthropist. that is a tough one. Perhaps research is in order to help you make your decision. certainly you do not want to cause hard to people. i mean it would probably not hurt a grown man but what about a child?

my advice to you is do not be the guy who does it and tells himself it's ok without knowing. "ignorance is bliss"? yeah ignorance will save you from guilt, hell if you have no idea you cannot have any guilt right? i say know what the repercussions of your actions can be. once you know after 20 minutes on google then make your decision.

Just like 6p6 and guns said I also give blood because my hemoglobin and hemocrit are high due to gear usage.I don't remember if there is a question on do you take steroids but if there is you click NO. You are only there to dump your blood to try and get your levels back to normal. If they have to say use your blood they due more testing on it to make sure its pure.Throw thw Moral out the window and go give blood

Yes...do NOT mention any use of needles outside the doctors office. You can certainly donate even on high doses of AAS because the amount that ends up being drawn out is negligible.

If your iron is to high they wont let you donate. May of the people there will openly tell you may of the legal TRT crew make regular visits.. well they tell me... yes I have donated may times.

That plasma on the other hand I don't care for at all. Whole blood or no blood.

Guage is right. Fuzo was turned down from donating cause he has to much iron. he ended up seeing a Hematologist, twice a week, a pint each time , for therapeutic reasons not donation

I tell them I am self injecting testosterone cypionate as part of my testosterone replacement therapy. They check several boxes Yes and it has never prevented me from giving blood. TRT is supposed to give you normal test levels, so they have no problem taking blood from you while on TRT. Of course, I do not mention the Deca I routinely take...

Look Rake. When I was in the car wreck that messed me up I could have cared less what was in the blood they gabe me short of aids or something like that. The doc could have me diesel fuel if it helped me and I would have ageerd. The only way from what I understand for it to possibly hurt someone is if your iron is extremely high. Could cause blood clots in someone who already had high iron too.

But they will reject it as said above on the chance you could have a rare iron disorder you could give to the receiptent. But we know that not why yours is high so don't worry just donate your blood!!!

You can't get in trouble even if you were on aas.drugs.alcohol whatever. If they don't want it they will reject you off the bat or dispose of it and send you a ref letter.

Fyi red meat and I think alcohol raises iron too
So if hold back on that and take a ton of antioxidants hopefully you won't get rejected.

Everything is cool gave blood today. I ended up tell my doctor the reader digest version of what I am doing and told her I want to give blood. Well guess what her husband is on TRT and she has a full understanding of what I am doing. She said please wait until she gave me a work up on my blood because she knew I was concerned and did not want to cause harm. She had them take blood 5 times from me and tested for everything she could think of. Yesterday's appointment my doctor said please don't run blast anymore until further notice but stay with replacement and my blood would not cause anyone harm. She is going to send me to a Hematologist and scan my Liver and Heart after the football season. Thanks everybody you always care and that is wonderful.
