  • NPP vs Deca

In my late 30s I've discovered deca (was never a fan in my teens/20s) and I love it...well it's summer and giving NPP a virgin run. I'm two weeks in at 100 x 3 times a week. My test just got bumped up from trt to a measly 425 mg/wk right now. I'm coming off some medical issues so being very careful with low doses (although I have subscribed to low doses for 20 something years).

When does this NPP kick in? Deca always takes me about 4-5weeks. Does NPP have same sides as deca, meaning do I need to start a dostinex protocol like I use when on deca? I'm not feeling anything yet on this NPP and my joints are on fire lately!

Any other NPP experiences or suggestions would be appreciated. The days of crazy cycles are probably done for me, mostly high TRT and blasts now. I'm comfortable with my weight and want to regain some athleticism I feel I've lost by getting to heavy last 8 years.

Never tried NPP because i hate short ester stuff ( i hate pinning). But i love decca. My close friend ran NPP and managed to not only gain a very impressive amount of muscle but also strayed very lean. I know it was mostly his diet but still i was very impressed.

I've only used deca twice. Once at 400 mgs/wk (with 500 test/wk) and one at 100 mgs/ wk. 400 was strong but bloated, at 100 my joints felt great and maybe got a bit of benefit... kept my cardio up so I didn't bloat. Ive used NPP for going on 6 or 7 months now. Running it currently at 350/ wk (650 test/wk) and feeling strong, fairly vascular, minimum bloat, joints feel awesome. At low doses with trt (100-150 mg/ wk) my joints felt great, still felt really strong. NPP usually really kicks in at about 2 weeks for me. I personally like NPP better but may use low dose deca in the future with trt.

Thx gusto, guess I'm waiting for it to kick in! Do you run dostinex / caber while on npp?

Nope I have caber on hand but have not seen any signs of prolactin related gyno

I know it bro but it does keep my estro down which if I understand correctly pro gyno thrives in high estro

it takes 1-2wks to kick in with the npp to be in full effect. now for most people unless you let your levels fluctuate to much prolactin sides shouldnt be an issue. still keep the caber and stuff on hand but slow and steady should work. i would never go back to straight up deca again for nothing. i like the joint support and the no bloat nice gains that it provides

Hey brother so does keeping your estrogen levels low indirectly help prevent pro gyno? I know I've read that before I didn't just pull it out of my ass but I guess it is just a certain school of thought. What's your thought on it?
