I am on week 4 of 10mg capsule-form of Anavar. Could I up it to 1 in the am, and 1 before bed? Is 20mg a day too much for a first timer, like myself? How long should I go my 1st cycle for?
have you notciced any results from the 10mg in 4 weeks your taking now and how long are you going to run the var.Imo 10mg is fine for the first time.

I'm 41, 118-120lbs, 5'3, lifting for 4 years. I'm not 100%on diet. Do great mond-sat, then cheat crap Sundays. I'm not sure how long to see results. That's why I'm inquiring if I should up dose, and how long for my 1st cycle. I'm hoping at least 8 week cycle...right?
You can cheat once a week on your diet. That is no prob. Why do you want to up the dose? Have you not seen any results? Or have seen results and want more? imo, 20 is a bit high for a woman. Specially first run. But that also depends on the quality of your Var.
I say stay at 10 still. If you look like that pic to you sent me, you look awesome. Also, didntyou say you were feeling lil bloated? If you increase, that may get even worse. Keepig electrolytes in balance and drinking enough water is also a key factor here. If you havent had any recent bloodwork done, I would say to get a cbc, cmp, and athyroid panel done before you increase. just my opinion here
If You decide to go up to 20mg, just watch for any sides. I have readsome women tolerate this dose fine and others have to discontinue from sides. Everyone is different. have you had a recent bloodwork done such as any thyroid testing? Also, here is some info that i got from a very knowledgeable woman in the community regarding var.
"5-10 grams of Vitamin B5 for possible cycle acne. If you are not sure if acne will be a problem start at 5 grams of B5 daily. If it becomes clear your skin REALLY does not like AAS after you start you should take 10 grams ED. It is very disgusting so you should mix it in your protein shake. B5 is to help with acne.
Taurine 2,000mg per day (this is not optional!)
Magnesium & Potassium 300mg each per day.
BCAAs and Amino Acids. Find a nice combo I use AminoX by BSN at least one scoop per day preworkout is best.
Multivitamin
Fish oil or better yet high quality Krill Oil cold pressed. This is to counter Anavar’s tendancy to raise cholesterol and lower HDL."
These are just some things that should be included with your cycle and can affect the body as a whole.
Our stats and diet are exactly the same. I am on my 4th cycle of var and I have only now gone up to 25mgs. I can't even flex w/out getting a pump...but my sh*t is very good. When I started I ran 10-15mgs and always broke it up 2 or 3x's daily. If you are running that high and not seeing much after 4 weeks imo it might a quality issue. As far as how long to run it- I always hit a wall where it stops working. That happens around week 8 or 9 for me. Listen to your body is my best advice.

Thank you all so much. I will stick with the 10mg. I'm new to this, and I guess I expect too much too fast!). I'm taking milk thistle 3 times a day. A b50 in the am. And taurine twice a day. I do my BCAAs daily with a multi vitamin.
How do I know if my Var is legit? It says VAR 10 on the bottle. I got it from Anabolic Research.
I also just noticed I am to be taking 3pills to equal 10 mg. that 'might' be part of it. I guess I take 2 more now to finish the 10mg.
I hate to be the guy that tells you this but that is fake. There is absolutely no var in what your taking. And I'm 100% on my claim trust me. If you ever see legal alternative or dietary blend then stay away. You may as we'll stop taking that crap. If you stick around here you will get what you need I'm sure of it.
