No kidding? How many exercises? Did you stay strict, or go with more of a cheat rep? I was following the Poloquin program and found I got some pretty good results from 6 reps with tempo trianing but I was using the preacher bench. Standing BB curls just never really do anything for me, at least, that's how it seems.

I don't walk around laughing at half the people on steroids because I'm way taller than them. That's just being ignorant.

I don't walk around and laugh at people because I know I'm more hung than 95% of them (according to nationwide averages).

It's people like that, which make me hate the gym so much. So many of these toolbags acting all tough. Who cares? We're all there to better ourselves. There should be a general respect in the gym.
Ok then, not quite sure why you got all bent out of shape, but I will run with it. You made the comment that I think I'm tougher than people who don't use aas? Where did you get that load of crap info?

You say anyone can take aas and get big...this couldn't be more incorrect. If you have bad genetics, aas isn't going to help much. It's much more than just putting a needle in your butt, but then you would have to have some expereince to actually know that. So, since you don't have any expereince, you make comments about things you really don't know about. That's your choice.

You say you don't walk around laughing at people on aas because you are taller than them and that it's ignorant. Yeah, I got nothing for that one because it doesn't make any sense. I don't get it. How does that have any relavance to your point?

And I really don't get why you felt the need to talk about your johnson. lol

Then you finish with the comment that you don't like the gym because you don't like people like that and that they are toolbags. So, above you are saying that I think it's funny that I'm tougher than other people, then you say you dont' like people like that, then you say those people are toolbags. So, are you calling me a toolbag?

Then, the final comment, which contradicts all that you said and your whole entire arguement. You state, and I qoute this one, "There should be a general respect in the gym." Interesting you would state that because the entire thread, if you would have read it clearly, was about how that dude came into the gym with a 'ALL NATURAL' shirt on which was offensive to most the people in that gym. So, here you are stating that you think there should be 'a general respect in the gym' and then you go and get all bent out of shape about a thread about a gym who did not show respect in the gym he was in. If you truly believe a gym should have respect, then how can you defend a dude to disrespected the guys at that gym?

I never saw any evidence that the guy wearing the T shirt disrespected anybody? The thread starter got overly paranoid because he felt inadequate. The guy in the t shirt did what to offend? No evidence others in the gym were offended. Yes people shoulve have respect for everyone in the gym and mind their own business.

2 work sets of standing barbell curls 6 reps each strict as hell. When on a heavy cycle i can almost curl my weight for those 6 reps. I do do a cpl sets of warm ups with cables but thats all they are warm ups.

            Re: Anger at the gym

First off there should be a general respect in the gym. Part of that general respect is not walking around the gym thinking your better because you do steroids, and you can lift more. Who cares? Isn't everyone basically in the gym to try and better themselves?

I can see what you mean though on the general respect not directly tying in with why he wore the shirt. But none of us truly knew his intention. Again maybe people always accuse him of using steroids, so he wore a shirt to show off his pride for getting his size without the use of steroids. Or maybe he does steroids and it was just a joke. Noone knows.

The I think I'm tougher comment your speaking of was referring to the following direct quote from you........

            This is what you do:

Nexty time he wears that, go up to him, pat him on the back and say "All Nautural huh?" (chuckle under your breathe) and say "Yeah, it shows". Then ask him to spot you on some 405 squats for 10 reps. LOL

That to me sounds like you thought the fact that you can do 405lb squats from the result of your steroids, made you better than him being all natural. Of course I'd defend that because there's many of us that are all natural. So it's ok for you to take offense to things and point to your RULES but it's not ok for anyone else to defend something that they take as a general attack?

            Then you say this.........

You say you don't walk around laughing at people on aas because you are taller than them and that it's ignorant. Yeah, I got nothing for that one because it doesn't make any sense. I don't get it. How does that have any relavance to your point?

The point was I don't go around acting like I'm better because I'm taller, just like it's not cool to go around acting like your better because your on steroids and can squat more. Who cares? See the relevance now?

The johnson comment was just another point. The point again being that it's not cool to stroll around acting like your better because your bigger than everyone else. again referring to your squatting comment.

            Finally you say.....

Then you finish with the comment that you don't like the gym because you don't like people like that and that they are toolbags. So, above you are saying that I think it's funny that I'm tougher than other people, then you say you dont' like people like that, then you say those people are toolbags. So, are you calling me a toolbag?

True I don't like people that think they are better than other people. I don't like when people think because they have a nicer car they are better than others, or because their bigger, or taller, or a better dresser etc etc etc. I think you get the point. I for one am very confident in myself, but never think I'm above anyone else.

I was not calling you a toolbag, nor anyone else on this board. It was a general statement to anyone that thinks they are better than others. Plain and simple. No reason to misconstrue that.

I would explain this a little bit more in detail but it involves words that you would misconstrue as flaming, so I can't really explain it any further.

The only people i have went out of my way to make look inferior are the little tools running around a buck 80 soaking wet with ELS who max 200 pnds with their buddies help. Who think they are the ****. IMO they deserve put in thier place from time to time.

I wish a little oil was all it took to get big and strong. Life would have been easy. I must have been taking it wrong all this time because i had to bust my ass to hit the numbers i have. Steroids took my bench from 300x10 to 405x10 from their i had to read everything i could find, study countless videos of the proper form and then spend a cpl yrs refining my technique.

I wear my shirt as a joke got it given to me by a guy who worked at GNC he thought it would be funny.
I am sure it has done wonders for GNC brand creatine sales in our area lol. When some high school kid is like wow dude ur huge for bein drug free i tell him its all GNC creatine. lol

                Read this again:

Ok I dont knock anyone for being so called natural but i do have to get this off my chest. I was in the gym today and I saw this guy wearing a shirt that said "ALL NATURAL" on the back. OMG did this anger me. First of all he was in the wrong gym to be wearing THAT kind of shirt ....

Now, if you know anything about the guy who started the thread, you would know that meant this was a gym where people used gear. Thus, the shirt was insulting to those who use. See?

That's only your assumption! Your passing that off as fact, as if you knew this guys true intention. Also most, if not every gym contains guys on steroids.

I've been thinking about training mainly for the big 3 also. I've been reading alot at IA's board and this is what he focuses on. I've seen routines where he has guys doing only 1 working set for bi's. Low volume. Most all love it.

Man, this thread took off in a couple of directions, lol! I don't see the big deal with the t-shirt. Maybe the guy is just proud of himself and gets asked the question "are you juicing?" by people outside of the gym, I don't know. Personally I don't pay much attention to what folks wear in the gym unless it's some kinda fruity little number or a hot chick wearing some skin tight clothes.
As far as the "I'm better than you attitude", you get that crap everywhere. Some guys who are natty have that attitude towards those who are on the sauce and vice versa.

Good deal. This is where so many people get lost and confused trying to add this and that when all you really need is old school basics. Focusing on a bigger squat, bigger dead and bigger bench you can't help but gain size. Folks are always amazed at how they start growing again once they get back to the basics.
