O.K. This is a question for you fellas that I've been wondering about. Since we are always talking about having to "Cut" because of our stupidity in pre-bodybuilding years or after a bulking diet/cycle, I got to thinking of something. If someone were at 15% bf and wanted to lean out, could you just add several pounds of quality muscle over a 2 year period (AAS or not)? Here's my point. If you have, say, 15 pounds of bodyfat and wanted to look leaner, wouldn't it be better to add quality mass for a couple years and then let that newly added muscle mass help you burn those 15 pounds while leveling you calories out for no additional weight gain (during a standard 12 wk diet)?
Maybe it's just me, but the health and physique benefits of muscle mass seem to outweigh these 'sharp' fluctuations in weight by quite a bit....Shiner
