Well this old dog resided to learn a new trick[emoji41] the wave of hrt/trt has created lots of new theories. Honestly I scoffed at the micro dosing theory until Joe Rogan and Derrick for more plates…

It intrigued me and over the past probably five years my body has really started to dislike injection oil. Inflammation in my body from some medical issues in the past 3 years has really increased this.

    So I gave it a shot…

Initially I used insulin pins at 28g 1/2in. I’m lean enough some areas worked great. Missed a few spots so an oil sub q happens.

The draw takes about 45s and it goes in slow but zero pip. Ordered 1” 30g needles and leurlock 1ml syringes. I use a 23g to fill and heating oil it pushes through 30g.

Zero pip. It’s a daily chore that takes me less than 4 min. The amount of injection locations if utilize now is fun!

I’m 40 days doing micro dosing. The interesting thing about micro dosing is being able control day to day levels. I keep a bottle of prop close and give myself a .1 ml if I need it. I’ve done it twice on stressful and physical days .

    Currently I do .2 ml test E, 7 days per week…which gives me 1.4cc.

The micro dosing brings in a whole new form of thinking. Even though you still take into account overall weekly intake it is way less important. .2ml daily gives me 60mg a day. If you start thinking of micro dosing in terms of normal production and paying attention to what’s being called Patient Quality Of Life you run into two items that are very intriguing. Less than 70 years ago men produced closer or over 1000ng of test as far as levels. They were more active, stronger etc getting yourself closer to feeling like that daily with zero sides is quite the epiphany.

Nice side less effect is dropping a little water weight some longer esters can give.

    A new journey!

Thanks. That's interesting and I've never heard of it.
Are You saying instead of taking say two shots a week that equal 500 mg you take a shot every day at a certain amount that would equal 500 mg in a week for example?

yeah that is correct. so say your hrt dose is 300mg per week and you get 200mg per ml of test c. that equals out to about 25ius on a slin syringe every day. we talked about this earlier and my doc made the suggestion to me to do this with both my hrt as well as when i cycle. he says that being as stable as possible is both more effective for progress as well as health. he even told me that with guys that are estro sensitive he has seen them not to need any anti e because it keeps it from climbing up hardly at all. def a good option.
i did my entire prep micro dosing last year with daily injections. it is a pain in the ass doing it daily but it was far less painful and i had pretty much zero sides. i have been toying around the idea of trying sub q micro dosing everything like i saw vigirous steve talking about. most likely test that out in the offseason though. he says it takes longer for the compounds to build up but once they do everything is much smoother and steady

            Re: Micro dosing

Thought I’d give an update to my March 2023 posting. Micro dosing rocks and I’m not sure if I will ever stop.

Three months of trial and error. Has led me back to day 1. Insulin syringes are the best. They have a stable plunger…leave very little scar tissue or disrupt anything else.

With micro dosing very rarely have a bad shot. Even if I do it’s small enough dosing to fix quickly.

I tried buying separate syringe and 30ml 1” needles. I’m not sure why but zero problems with 29 g but with 30g it gets really tough. I purchased two different brands of syringes and both had weak plungers that made pushing oil through the 30g like a Parkinson’s patient playing pool!

In the end the con of insulin syringes is tossing one a day. I feel wasteful but I’d rather have no issues.

Dosing wise ive gone up and down but for me the best spot sits at 1.4cc week. If I have a day I know I need more I top off with a little prop .2 cc to give a little boost. I only missed one day since March do to being sick but it was like nothing. Actually felt normal to be below and then spike my next dose with some prob and didn’t miss a beat.

once i am cleaned out and 100% from this prep i am contemplating doing my entire offseason goodies in micro dosing fashion. i do it with my hrt and prep cycles but always im. i am thinking about giving sub q exclusively a try. i saw vigorous steve and some others use this approach and if it works with hrt and my doc is on board then why the hell not? may take quite a bit longer to peak but once it does it should be the most stable release as possible

I still hit IM. It’s just shallow IM.

i am a fan of that as well. listening to both vig steve and my doc. both of them say that by going with the sub q micro dosing you get an even better slow steady release of the compounds and even more stability. i have done like you with the im micro dosing but not sub q yet. my wife's hrt with test is done sub q and her levels are excellent with this approach. def going to give it a run when i fire up wide open again though and see how much of a difference it makes

I've been contemplating switching over to this type of protocol as well. I know several guys who have started micro dosing and all love it saying they will never go back. As I'm getting older and been doing the same thing for so many years, I think this might be a good change.

idk if i posted about it above or not but my actual hrt doc tells me that anything we do with hormones that staying as stable and level as possible is the key to mitigating side effects. he said that even increasing rbc hemocrit and hemoglobin can be knocked down a substantial amount by doing a micro dosing approach. be it hrt or straight up blasts. he has never steered me wrong in the past and my labs 99% of the time come back pretty damn good. i dont get stupid high dose wise like i used to but i do creep up pretty high during preps. last year i was able to go from prep straight into an offseason blast because my numbers were excellent. only changes i had made was daily micro dosing

I have been micro dosing for a few years 15mg/day sub-q. I keeps my T level in the low 800 range.

It sounds like you've been actively exploring different dosing strategies for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and cycling, with a focus on stability for both progress and health. Micro dosing, especially with daily injections, appears to be a route you've considered for minimizing side effects and maintaining a more consistent hormonal profile.
