  • Glute Shots

Glutes were the very first area I pinned way back in the day when I first started. Haven't hit them for many, many years. Pinned my right glute yesterday for the first time in a LONG time and holy crap lol... I haven't been this sore in forever. I'm sure my unsteady hand is the major factor.

Anyone pin glutes regularly? I'd like to start hitting that site again and give my other areas a break for a little while. Just need to figure out my technique. I'm not as flexible as I used to be way back in the day.

    Re: Glute Shots

Ive shot my glutes about 1,000 times and Im surprised I dont have more scar tissue there. I used to stick the needle in and use the wall to push the plunger in. Now Im a lot better at doing the reach around. lol

I'm going to try sticking with glutes for a little bit. Give my shoulders and other areas a little break. I can tell I'm building up scar tissue everywhere. Just need to work on my technique for glutes. I'm not as flexible as I used to be, so reaching around and keeping myself in that position is tough.

I have not hit em in years. I do TRT and go sub Q in the stomach. But a half a cc sub Q is no prob. I would not pin over 1 cc this way.

Delts were my second choice after my glutes were "pinned out" over 20 years of cycles. Many were T prop so pinning eod. I do not miss it at all.

For 20+ years all I pinned was glutes. Now I have far too much scar tissue built up after all the finaplex. I usually hit shoulders now.

The Graston Technique is a form of manual therapy known as soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization. ... The therapy is designed to help the practitioner identify areas of restriction and attempt to break up scar tissue

I'd assume a masseuse who has been trained in the graston technique can do it. Mostly physical therapy locations in my area that offer it. It can be painful, but the results are great.

i usually do glutes when on sust in winter as they're only about 3 pins per week. then once in awhile during cutter where i'm pinning stuff every day i'll hit glutes once every week or so to rotate the other sites and give then a break.

dude, my right glute shot tuesday was a *****, had done back the day before and between being tight from training and the clen i just started, while i was pivoted around pushing plunger, my back from waist to traps on right side cramped up so bad. was like shit... breathe and relax without pulling the pin out and then finish pushing with as steady a hand as i could while my back continued to cramp, not a fun shot lol
