  • What's the MOST amount of Protein you consume in ONE meal.

Since your body can only assimilate so much protein every 2 hours, excess being stored as fat.......do you limit yourself to < 70 grams?

    Always wanted to know?

(I limit my meals to 70 MAX per meal for this reason)

My max. intake is 65g, and that is each of my two post-workout meals, the other 4 meals I have 50g. each.

Is there not some controversy regarding this subject though?? Pretty sure I remember reading that somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I limit mine to between 60-70g per meal.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Ginger root is supposedly able to help one digest more protein.

This was posted my Mike P.T. quite a while back, maybe he can shed some light on it.

              "How to Eat more protein
The thing that I have found that works so that you can digest more protein (say 80+ grams per meal) is GINGER ROOT. It has 180 times the protein digesting power of papaya.
I recently added 500-1000mg of ginger root right before each meal- digestion has NEVER been better."

Yeah I did post it good memory bro. But I got that from macrophage69alpha. It's in the elite journals area. I never tried ginger root but alot of guys swear by it. Alot definately depends on genetics, and steroids as well.

Although I agree with you to a certain extent ("it's genetic"), I disagree with you when you say that ginger WON'T help.

There are a ton of guys over at Elite that have been boasting about their new found love: ginger root.

Personal experience from fellow bro's is invaluable!

How about ALA......this increases insulin sensitivity. This also works especially for the insulin action-impaired. (Like me)

I was NOT blessed with a great insulin delivery system (my whole family either has or is prone to diabetes). This even the playing field.

                    Maybe ginger is the same?

What about a high potency multi-vitamin-mineral supplement?

Wait and you're not taking the most basic of all supplements, a multi-vitamin-mineral which IMO, next to protein is the most important supplement you can take.

Well you probably take it but don't count it as a supplement yes?
