Yeah, I switch up every week. One week I'll pull from the floor against bands (approx. 200 pounds of tension at the top) to work speed, form and lockout. The next week I do sldl's off a block to strengthen my hams and give me more drive outa the hole. I've found that pullin from the floor every week just isn't as effective for me. I used to pull one week off the floor and the next out of the rack. The problem with rack pulls is that you don't use the same form as off the floor so it isn't as effective as bands at strengthening the lockout, imo. Now for adding mass to your back rack pulls are fantastic, especially when followed by some other form of back work.
