  • What exercise is most

influenced by your bodyweight? For me it's bench, 10 pounds up or down makes a massive difference in my lifts. My squat and dl don't seem effected by slight changes in bw like the bench.

Pull ups! The heavier I am, the less I can do.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Dang it, I just realized this was in the PL section, lol.

Deads and squats for me. My bench is always strong no matter if my weight is up or down. If my weight is down, for some reason it seems I can really tell when doing deads or squats.

Deadlifts and bent rows for sure...Squats stay the same believe it or not and so does bench but my deads and bent rows suffer.

One thing I didn't expect when I started getting bigger was that my 20+ pullups would soon become 15, then 8, then 6...I can probably do 2 now, lol.

But as far as PLing, it would definitely be the bench. If I gain 10 lbs, that's an easy 10-15 lbs on my bench. I haven't tried losing weight to see how much my bench would drop, but everytime I get heavier it goes up before the other lifts do.

My bench goes up and down with a direct correlation to my weight. The other exercises aren't affected though.

I heeeeard that! I just don't like those little skinnies at the gym havin' that basic one-up on me, even though I can out-squat them by 250 lbs.

If I weighed a buck fifty I could rip 'em out too, but I'll take the fact I'm 5'10" and in my 230's over alot of pull ups any day. lol

I guess if one trains for it, it's possible, even at a heavy BW.

I've seen big boys (275ers) busing out sets of 12+ with two plates around their waist. I've even seen them do clapping chinups. It's scary to see real big men performing the BW feats of a rock climber.

I guess I should stop whining and starting doing them...
