Every year we have lots of yummy fun size chocolate bars left from Trick or Treat. So lil one and I cut up whatever is left :twix, milky way, reeses, snickers, crunch, hershey or whatever, and make cookies with them

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- chopped candy bars ( we usually chop up about 2 cups , but you can do what you wish)
Directions
- Preheat oven 375 degrees.
- Combine flour, salt and baking soda in bowl and set aside
- Combine brown sugar, white sugar, butter and vanilla and beat until creamy
- Add eggs and beat till mixed
- Add dry ingredients and mix well
- Hand stir in the chocolate bar chunks
- Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes
- We like our cookies more soft and chewy so I usually take them out when they are set but not brown on top.
- Oven times may vary and leave them cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet
