We never get commercial shots. Can't tell what they are giving you. Rather chose what is being injected into my body.

Last time I took my daughter to the doc, she was pushing me hard to have my daughter get the HPV vaccine. Finally gave a real firm NO!

Good for you Baby1, that vaccine only covers a minuscule amount of possible HPV infections. Also look into the Meningitis vaccine, all colleges require this but the same is true and it covers very few of the strains that are out there. We did not have our son get it for his Freshman year. His roommate came down with Meningitis during Christmas break and it was proven that the vaccine would not have protected Billy-Bob anyway.

military required it and i got sick as hell each and every one i got. so now hell no. thing is they are only good for one strain of it anyway and it is usually from the most dominate one from the year prior. so it's pretty much worthless. the pills they gave you if you catch it in time are a much better choice imo

Seems like everyone I know who gets a flu shot gets the damn flu lol. Once i started noticing that years ago, I quit getting them. I rarely get the flu if ever.

I got all vaccines. If i had a daughter and the decision was mine to make i have her get the gardasil vaccine without question. I get a flu shot every year usually from the pharmacy and i get a coupon for my shopping. I hear the stories about not getting them and never being sick. Good for you. Your body do as you please. Personally I think not getting vaccines that are available to save life and protect health is foolish. My .02

I got the flu about 5 years ago when I did not get the shot. I get it religiously now as the coughing and body aches were miserable. as long as I get the shot I have been good to go. I am scheduled for mine tomorrow but I already feel bad because one of my coworkers who tested positive for influenza type 1 came to work for a meeting they could have stayed home for. who sat beside their hacking and coughing ass? ME!

Flu shots kill. Those shots have mercury and all kinds of other shit in them. I am 100% anti vaccination. Ive been sick about twice in the last 10 years

my son got the HOV vaccine at 18 at his first adult dr visit, i asked him why since he doesn't have multiple sex partners he's performing oral on and therefore wouldn't be a carrier giving it to someone else and he said dr made it sound like the responsible thing to do.

i never got one before the age of 33. went to work for the city and they offered the free vaccine to employees and rationale was being one of the people responsible for plowing the roads during snow storms for the city it was deemed a good idea. 33 years of getting shitty flu two to three times per year and then 17 years of getting the flu shot every season and zero flu episodes since. i get one every year now. no side effects and complete winter and spring of no sickness period. i'll go with those benefits every time

I got the 3 gardisal shots years ago because I agree with your son's doctor.

its is a personal choice and no one should tell another what to do with their body. Doc can suggest, it is our reponsibility to make informed choices. I personally do not have enough faith in docs so when they say this is "good" that is not gospel to me
