I just recently started taking Tryptophan at night. I added it to the chamomille and lemon balm capsules I already take. Bam. Every night I am out like a light and sleep for at least 7 hours straight. Its amazing.
There was a time that I believed that I could NOT sleep without taking a benzo at night. I finally got off that garbage about 4 years ago and I have never needed them since.
good for you for kicking them benzos. I have been told there are only 2 drugs where the actual withdrawal from the drug can kill you: benzos and alcohol. I am not sure how true this is tho.
I will give this regimine a try. I can go to sleep but wake up at 2-3am and cannot go back to sleep 2-3 nights a week.
get the tryp gaba and melatonin jipped and play with the dosing. you can even add in a bit of valarine root as well. i havent used any v root this year but the others are spot on even as many times as i get up and down at night myself. i am able to go right back to sleep as soon as i get my arm shook out
Something I also add in sometimes when I can't sleep is L-Theanine. Supposed to help decrease anxiety and stress. I always feel like it helps me relax a little bit before going to bed.

like i said it is a great trio. you just need to play around with the dosing of each. for me i use 1 teaspoon to a table spoon of gaba 10mg of melatonin and i believe the tryp caps i have are either 10 or 100mg. that's the sweet spot for me. i do crank the gaba up to 1 tbl spoon as i get closer to competing for the gh pulse. i am pretty sure that equals around 2g of gaba off the top of my head

Absolutely. A person can go into cardiac arrest fro either of those poisons. I was worried about coming off of them but thank goodness I tapered off and didnt have a problem. I still have a bottle of benzos in a drawer that have been sitting there for 3 years.

Yes, I usually throw in melatonin but I get it thru tart cherry. I will take a swig of straight tart cherry juice at night and that gives me enough melatonin
