get you some highly branched chained cyclic dextrin and use it during your training. it doesnt raise you insulin at all, mess with your guts or have any real bad effects. stuff will crank your recovery through the roof.
what i do is i have:
a fast digesting pro
slow to medium releasing carb with fat to slow it down even further for my preworkout meal. i consume it about 60 mins prior to training
intra i have 60-100g of hbcd with eaas from intra md or i make my own with pure powders. i use 60g on smaller muscle and pump days then 100 on leg and back days
post i do my normal 8oz of pro 50-100g of carb usually sweet or red potatoes and then my fats.
i do both off season and during preps. the amounts just go up or down depending on where i am and what i am doing

About 60min later I have one scoop of betancourts bullnox(but I rotate a new preworkout every time I finish a container) with cgp(creating, glycerol phosphate), citrulline and 50 gas of carbolyn plus 25mg ephedra. During workout I do another scoop of cgp, 100gms of carbolyn and 48gms of peptopro(hydrolyzed casein). About 60-90 min Post workout I will have a real meal(varies).
Before my workout is a protein shake. Nothing during. After is what I've been doing for years...
