ears cleaned out by doctor

today i had my ears cleaned out at the doctor's. i casually mentioned my hearing in my right ear wasn't doing so well. the nurse who came in to do them got some major crazy shit out of there. i could not stop laughing when she was power washing the inside of my ears either. i feel like i have new ear drums. if you guys haven't had it done i recommend it on your next visit. it's liberating.

Right on. I was thinking I need that done. Can any doc do that or do you have to go to an ear doctor? Maybe call the dr place and ask if they do it

Totally routine thing with your pcp bro. I was expecting a referral to an ent.

This morning cant hear shit. tonight I can hear flys fuck.

I get my ears cleaned out once a year , if not 2x !!!
I just hit up my ENT and it's done !!!
Helps with my equilibrium .
I've had them use the mini power washer , but most times they use like metal tweezers , these things don't feel too good digging up in my ears .
But when I'm done , I can actually hear hear people's thoughts !!!

I have had it done at the doc befor. cost me $75. so I bougt this stuff called "auro" and put it in one ear and sleep with that ear up so it drains in. next morn i use a 50 cc barrel in the shower to rinse out the goo. it is gross. brown globs and things that look like a piece of a thick broken piece spaghetti noodle come out.

i feel way better.

I have found I have no probs during the spring and summer only the fall and winter when I sneeze and cough a lot.

since i started this and sinus rinse I have not had a sinus infection in years and have gotten cold far less

I ain't putting a damn candle in my ear. I swear when I first heard that I thought it was a joke. maybe it works but I do not see how. give me a ear lavage and I know it works

I used to have this done because my ears would get so bad. I couldn't believe the stuff that would come out. Havnt had it done in some time now

Might check into that as well. I routinely clean my ears, but never had it done by the doctor. They'd most definitely get everything I missed lol.

Dont they make ear drops that you put in your ear and lie on your side and it dissolves the ear wax? Im pretty sure they do. Wouldnt that work?

i tried carbamide peroxide 6.5%. it was like using a pea shooter to take out an elephant.

About 4 months ago, had Fuzo is the ER for quick onset of od major vertigo. Peroxcide did nothing and when we left the ER he had no hearing at all! The ENT removed a large rock of wax from his ear! Never happened before and doc said it may never again. Doc also said that it isnt necessary to used those cleaning methods or even get them cleaned out very often.
