Lipid Panel

Had to get some lab work done and I told the tech not to run this because I didnt fast. She did anyway and I assume my numbers would look even better on a fasted test? I was happy with the non fasting ones. I am at the age where my siblings lipid numbers got whacky but looks like so far so good with this

TRIGLYCERIDE	115 mg/dL	0 - 149 mg/dL
HDL CHOLESTEROL	47 mg/dL	40 - 9999 mg/dL
CHOL/HDL	2.5
NON-HDL CHOLESTEROL	70 mg/dL	mg/dL
LDL CHOLESTEROL	47 mg/dL

most likely it would baby1. what mine told me is your numbers can be skewed by not fasting and also that you can be outside of the ideal ranges and still be good depending on the equation they do to determine your risk factors.

I am thinking my HDL should be higher? Doc said numbers are good.

i think it is high average, that is pretty good
