yesterday was my nieces birthday. my brother had BBQ brisket and sausage and of course slaw, potato salad and beans which I ate after eating SUPER clean for 45+ days. the worst was a piece of dense..........sweet..........INCREDIBLE coconut cake that melted in my mouth.
I got home and felt horrible. this was the first sugar and major source of carbs in well over a month as I have been in ketosis around 2.0 MM on my tester, (not strips). all i could do is nap until the headache subsided.
I felt better when i got up and mowed the yard.
now today i feel like i have a hangover (i did drink one beer but it is the sugar that hurt me)
so what is the best way to get back into ketosis, because for 100% sure I am way out. i hope i do not get the "keto flu" again that sucked for 3 days.
all i consumed this morning is coffee with butter, MCT, heavy cream and coconut oil. will go to the gym around 10 with my brother. he will push me hard. that is what I need right?
