Great advice but I do think stats and goals are important when figuring out a nutrition plan
that was just a bare bones baseline plan with no information and someone just looking to lose weight. i have the formulas to plug in all the numbers and stuff to give exact numbers for gaining or losing weight. but as a rough guideline someone that is barely active at 2k cal a day they will maintain their natural bodyweight. now if they are obese 2k a day will start immediate fat loss. now the trickling down in cals every 2 days prevents the body from adapting and since this is a lifestyle plan and not a person looking to jump on stage it is just a cal driven suggestion
do a thread fo us older guys that want to build muscle and loose fat
if you guys want some template examples. start a thread up with goals, current weight(goal weight) age, height, and daily activity levels and i will get you a baseline and template setup for you
