I think I forgot to ask you, how long after drinking the PW shake do you recommend eating the next solid PW meal? 1.5 hours? 1 hour?
1.5 - 2 hours. One hour is a little soon. Be sure this meal has no fat just in case insulin levels are still a little elevated from the pw shake...
BTW - how is the diet going?
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

The diet is going good. I've been using oatmeal and chicken as my second PW meal, so the only fat in that meal is from the oats (6g). The meal is 1c Old Fashion oats, 1/2c NF milk mixed in after cooking, 8 slpenda, also 6oz chicken breast.
I've been using r-ALA with both PW meals, so hopefully by the time I have my oats/chicken (1.5 hours after the dextrose/whey drink) my insulin levels will be pretty low.
Think keep the oats in there, or sub for something else?

Def keep the oats bro. They are a great source of fiber! And they taste fantastic w/some sugar free syrup and splenda. I'd imagine that with a little NF milk in there it would be even better. I preffer oat bran to regular oatmeal. I just like the texture a lot more - but either are fine.

I never tried oat bran. You cook it up hot like oatmeal, or do you eat it cold with milk?

Cook it like oat meal. The stuff is dirt cheap at health food stores if you buy it in the bulk department. I really preffer the texture. It tastes a little better as well...

I'm going to have to try that oat bran...sounds yummy.
Lemme ask you this as well. I'm thinking of adding the apple preworkout like you recommended. Do you suggest taking 100mg r-ALA along with the apple? Or do you think it might make me go hypo during my workout?

I would leave out the ala...

Ate the apple 25 minutes prior to training and felt a little better then previuos training sessions. I think it's a good addition to the diet.
Also, tried the oat bran today 1.5 hours after my dex/whey drink. I love it! I can't believe how much more filling 1c oat bran is vrs 1c regular oats....not too mention 1c oat bran after cooking is a lot more volume then regular oats. Love the texture too! I cooked it with 2c water, after cooking I mixed in 1/2c NF milk, 10 splenda, and cinnamin....deliciuos!!
