DHT has been blamed for prostate size increase, maybe that is not entirely true.
OK I take 500mb test d every 2 weeks. Never had a problem with E2 ever at this dose.
My prostate has been giving me fits for longest time being enlarged. Pain, urine urgency etc.
Well I had some erase, I popped 1. My prostate pain went down and am able to sleep the whole night.
After a few days the pain came back. I pop a cap every 4 days and I am golden.

DHT gets a bad rap qand it may not be DHT at all

test converts to dht man. it does so in some more than others. age genetics and a host of other things can cause it to get irritated. now if you really want to make it angry if you put in a dht derived compound like mast or proviron and see how it likes it. those prostate issues are horrific

I take this Prostate 6000 supplement. I guess it is helping but I dunno. I take a lot of other things too like Pumpkin seed extract, Pigeum, stinging nettles... Still gotta get up at night about 3 times..was thinking of seeing what happens if I take proscar. Maybe like half tab eod. Anyone try that? I had a script for pro pecia but never filled it after reading horror side effects.

I've heard so many bad things about pro pecia and Proscar. Side effects of those might outweigh the benefit.

Mine swells up from time to time if I get to heavy on the DHT compounds, specifically Mast or proviron. I was having some issues not too long ago and picked up some 300mg saw palmetto (NOW brand). Started with two (one in the morning and one at night) then switched to just one at night and the issues have gone away. Not sure if it was strictly the saw palmetto that helped, but it's been much better ever since.

I don't have any issues with my prostate, but I recently did order some Saw Palmetto, because of these stories right here, and because the fact that I don't want to have issues with the prostate.
Is 300mgs the usual dose ???

Just to see what happens take a weak E2 blocker, it may work or not.

Probably so. The Prostate 6000 product has 600 mg saw palmetto per dose and a bunch of other prostate ingredients. Its one of the better prostate things Ive found

Dont listen to this Bullshit about finestride. That is your best option. I have used it at a dose of 2.5-5 mg a day off and on since 1997. To help with baldness and it does. It also will help prostate problems. I have never had a single problem while taking it or when discontinuing it.
If your prostate is causing the symptoms you described its enlarged and you really should be seeing a Dr. A specialist not a GP.
Yohimbie and these other over the counter things may help the prostate but what you are describing they will do absolutely nothing. Fineseride 5 mg a day would work but dont buy it and treat yourself. SEE A SPECIALIST.

well clearly if it is caused by aas use then ceasing use or at least using supps to lessen the effect is going to be a benefit. thinking out of the box but most people in the game arent just going to stop. so why not use the least amount of meds possible if possible instead of jumping on more drugs. now if you are having issues and it isnt related to your aas use then by all means you may have something serious going on but again look at the sides that the meds they suggest have and then weigh out the pros and cons. just because your dick doesnt stop working perm doesnt mean someone else's isnt. i am a firm believer in doing as much research as possible and trying out alternative means before jumping on something the doc suggests. that's how i have avoided statins while on. i control it with a couple supps and stay well within range
