Just the grocery or catch em myself in the spring, fall and winter. Summer fish when the water is hot do not taste as good to me.

it's a bottom feeder big time and heavily farmed. i used to live off the stuff but i switched to cod and salmon only. cod is very similar in nutrition profile and much better imo

I used to order Talapia at Applebees and Chilis all the time but they no longer have it on their menu. I wonder if all the bad publicity Talapia is getting is what made them discontinue it. Talapia is garbage according to the news

i liked it because it has such a mild and unfishy taste or pretty much no taste at all. it's super low cal but the negatives outweigh the benefits to me. so i tried cod and it's about the same taste wise and has a much better texture to me. i cant eat fish that has a super fishy taste. i tried to eat flounder one time because all the other bodybuilders were and i couldnt even cover it in mustard and hold my nose without gagging. just cant do it

I stopped eating talapia a long time ago too. I do mostly salmon now.

I am so jealous of you brother that it hurts to look at your pick. Snapper is one of my favs. Never had grouper or I assume those others are kings? Not really up on salty fish.

Also what are the fish with the yellow on their belly? Look like mahi with the head are they yellow tail?

                            Re: Fish

I'd love to get more fresh fish but I normally buy frozen from costco, cod, tuna steaks, mahi mahi, and more recently orange roughy. Its affordable, most of it is seasoned pretty good and easy dinner just pop it in the oven for about 30 minutes or in the case of tuna steaks season with salt and pepper and throw on the skillet.
